33. Whatever It Takes

Before Lucy could find Viktor, Allison tracked her down, clearly wanting to talk.
"Hey" started Allison.
"Whatever you are here to say, I'm not interested" informed Lucy.
"I just wanted to talk. If the world really is going to end soon, I thought the two of us should get some things off our chests, and make up" replied Allison.
"I have nothing to say to you. I am not the one who needs to apologise. And no offence, but you are not the person I want to be around when the world explodes".

Allison folded her arms, "What did I do to make you so mad with me?".
"You really can't figure that one out for yourself?" Snapped Lucy.
"I know I told everyone about what happened to you, but it was an accident. I didn't mean to do it, so it's unfair that you are treating me like this, because of a simple mistake. We were so close before all this. You lived with me and Ray for nearly 2 years. So, you can't let one mistake ruin what we had" insisted Allison.
"You revealing my secret to the everyone, is not the reason I am angry with you. Sure, what you did sucked, but it's not the reason I don't want to be around you anymore" admitted Lucy.

"Then why do you hate me?" Questioned Allison.
"I don't hate you. I don't like you very much at the moment, and I hate your actions. But I don't hate you, because despite everything you've done, you are still family. However, I can never forgive or forget what you did. Telling everyone about my past was just the tip of the iceberg. You have been a bitch to everyone, ever since we arrived in this timeline. We have tried to be kind and supportive, but you have thrown it back in all of our faces. We know you are going through a lot, but that doesn't give you the right to treat us like crap" answered Lucy.

"I know that how I have behaved is wrong. But I am hurting inside, in a way that none of you understand. None of you know what I am going through, so you don't get to tell me how I should deal with my grief. But despite my pain, I have been nice to you" insisted Allison.
"Just because you haven't made it your goal to ruin my life, if doesn't mean you haven't hurt other members of my family. And when you hurt one of us, you hurt all of us. You killed Harlan to get back at Viktor. You didn't do it to help improve things between us and the Sparrows, you did it because you wanted revenge against Viktor" replied Lucy.

"Harlan killed our mothers and put into place this whole Kugelblitz thing" reminded Allison.
"It was not his fault, it was ours. If we had treated Viktor decently, he wouldn't have blown up the world, we wouldn't have got stuck in time, and Harlan wouldn't have ended up with some of Viktor's powers. All of this pain and suffering leads back to us. We caused this apocalypse" sighed Lucy.
"That's not how I see it" mumbled Allison.
"Well, I can't change what you see".

"I still don't see why my treatment of Viktor means that you have to hate me" said Allison.
"Viktor is a part of our family, and someone I care a lot about. And I don't like to see people I care about, suffering. Viktor isn't the only person you have hurt. Don't forget about what happened with Luther" replied Lucy.
"That was just a misunderstanding-" started Allison.
"You tried to sexually assault him! I dread to think about what would've happened if I hadn't of been walking past at that exact moment" interupted Lucy.

"What I tried to do to Luther, is nothing like what happened to you" insisted Allison.
"You can keep telling yourself that, but it's not true. My choice was taken away from me when I was in that basement, and that is exactly what you tried to do to Luther. You took away his free will, all because he told you no... Look, I'm not having this argument with you again. I don't agree with the things you have done, which is why we cannot be friends. If you want to apologise before the end of the world, then go ahead. But if you are just here to start a fight, then get lost. For I have nothing more to say to you" announced Lucy, as she turned around and tried to walk away.

"I take it this means you won't be voting to help me get my family back?" Questioned Allison.
Lucy sighed and spun back around, "It's not as simple as that".
"I know that. But we know what will happen if we stay here, we'll all die. However, if we go through that portal, we have a chance to make things right. We have a chance to get my family back" replied Allison.
"Don't you remember what Luther said the other day? Every time this family tries to make things right, we make everything much worse. Who's to say that won't happen again".

"Things can't get anyworse. We literally have hours left before the whole world is destroyed. This is our last chance to fix everything" insisted Allison.
"But what if we don't? What if some of us die trying to save the world, and we still don't succeed? What if everyone, but us dies, and you and I are stuck in some alternative dimension, forever? What if this is all just part of dad's  plan to take over the world, using our abilities to kill this guardian, so that he can make himself God? Asked Lucy.
"But what if we did fix everything? Isn't that worth the risk?" Questioned Allison.

"Dad can't be trusted, for he never tells us the truth... I don't know why you are so desperate to do this anyway. Even if we succeed, the chances are that we will still be stuck in this timeline, since ours no longer exists, because of all our time jumping. Which means you will still be stuck here without Ray and without Claire" informed Lucy.
"If we find the computer that is in charge of the entire universe, then maybe there is a way for us to programme the world we want. Maybe I can get both Claire and Ray back" replied Allison.
"But they don't even exist in the same time period. What you are suggesting is impossible" announced Lucy.

"Maybe, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes, to get my family back" revealed Allison.
"That's just it. You have stopped seeing us as your real family. And you are prepared to do anything to get your new family back, even if it means sacrificing your old family. And I am not prepared to lose all of my siblings, just so that you can get your husband and daughter back. I love Ray and Claire, really, I do, but I will not sacrifice the people I love most in this world, to bring them back" informed Lucy.

"I see. Well, if you have made your decision, then I see no reason to waste more of my time here, with you. Hopefully the rest of our siblings are more reasonable than you. Maybe some of them will actually want to help me" Allison said coldly.
"It's not that I don't want to help you. I really would love for you to get your family back, but not at the expense of mine" admitted Lucy.

"It's fine. I can see that the two years me and Ray spent looking after you, were in vain. For when it comes down to it, you care more about yourself, than my family" spat Allison.
"Hey, I lived on the streets for you! I gave up multiple jobs, so I could keep searching for you and the others. You are my sister and I love you, but I cannot put you above the rest of my family. I have to think about Five, Klaus, Luther, Diego, and Viktor. Which is why I will not help you" announced Lucy.
