Y/N's POV:
Days passed with me hanging out with Jae and Anna because Eric wasn't around. He had gone for winter holidays in Malaysia with his family.
Anna was of great help because of her amazing hot chocolate making skills. I mean as a barista myself, I was impressed.
Jae on the other hand became more open as he started to tell me more about his family.
He told me he had an older brother here and his mother was in Busan.
I felt it was only fair to talk about mine which was all over the place.
My parents were in Australia with my younger sister and brother who were studying there. My elder sister was in Japan for work.
The funniest part is that we're from none of those places.
Jae thought it was reasonable as people are always traveling to other places for work, studies etc.
We both also had to handle a lovesick Anna who missed Eric.
My winter holiday was absolutely normal.
The 15th was getting closer which meant I needed to go shopping.
The 13th was the perfect day for that but Anna couldn't accompany me because she had things to do and of course I wouldn't ask Jae.
So I had no choice but to call one person.
Chenle.
"You made the right choice." Chenle says as he puts his shades while we enter the mall.
"No I didn't, that's why I'm glad you brought Jisung." I pat Jisung's back.
Jisung just smiles at me assuringly while Chenle leads the way.
"By the way, what kind of clothes are you looking for?" Chenle asks while he wears his face mask to protect him from the public.
"I don't know. Anything but dresses." I say as we enter a fancy looking shop.
"Oh! Look at that dress!" Chenle exclaims and I shake my head.
"She said no dresses, where are your ears?" Jisung scowls at him.
"Jisung stay out of this! You're just a tag along, remember?" Chenle waves a hand in front of Jisung's face as he rolls his eyes.
Just then an employee approaches us.
"Can I help you mam?" She asks me politely.
"Yes please, ummm, we're looking for something for a formal dinner, anything but a dress please." I say.
"I'm sorry mam, but this is a dress shop. The name also says so." She points to the entrance and I turn to Chenle who avoids my glare.
Jisung holds my hand and takes me outside while Chenle follows.
"See, this is why we shouldn't trust Chenle." Jisung says once we're outside.
"What! It's your'll guys fault for not reading the name of the shop before entering." He huffs at us.
"Okay, relax. Let's just go to the other stores." I stand in between them.
We visit four more stores in vain. They either only have dresses or nothing good.
In the fifth store, the clothes seem much better. I try on three outfits but the boys seem to oppose everyone of them while commenting.
Some are too flashy, or loud while others are too simple or boring.
