Y/N's POV

They told me everything. All that had happened that day.

I found it very disturbing that I made a friend who was trying to kill me. Despite them warning me, I still shrugged it off and fully believed him.

I didn't know what to do as I was so disgusted and confused at the same time. Especially when they explained that he did all that to trigger them. To anger them.

That means he used me.

Why me? It's not like I had much to do with them anyways.

What I found more shocking and difficult to believe was that Renjun betrayed his own teammates.

When Jaemin told me that he poisoned me, I refused to believe him. It didn't add up at all.

I even tried to defend him by telling all of them that Minjae gave me the drug by convincing me that it was vitamins and I asked Renjun to add it to my drink.

After hearing that, Jeno tried to reason with the others that Minjae's words are definitely a fluke and Renjun is innocent after all.

Others were a bit undecided while Haechan would not budge at all even though it could clearly be seen that he was the most hurt.

My heart sank farther when Jeno reported that Renjun was missing as he was shot and fell of a cliff while being chased by the police.

Chenle was hysterical about the whole situation. He made it clear to the members that he had full faith in Renjun and wouldn't forgive anyone who tried to harm him.

He even promised that he'll keep it a secret if he found him because the others just want to turn him over to the police.

Mark explained that he'd be in trouble for helping a fugitive but all in vain because the younger member wouldn't budge.

The whole situation took a toll on me and my confused feelings so I asked to be left alone after my release.

Everyone was jittery about leaving me alone except for Jaemin who thought it'd be best for my mental health.

Haechan made me swear that if I come across Renjun, I should call him first.

One week had passed after the whole incident and I had fully recovered spending four whole days at home without any visitors or information about Renjun.

I still had hope that he'd show up somewhere. If he did, I don't think I'd keep Haechan's promise.

The Dreamies had texted me here and there in the course of the week to ask me about my health and if I got any news.

I assured them that I was fine and that I'd be the first to ring them, if I got anything. Obviously not completely true.

I decide to visit them once the week has ended because I've been feeling restless and lonely.

I walk slowly to their dorm humming one of their songs that had been released just before Christmas.

When I reach there, Mark opens the door but something doesn't look right.

He looks exhausted.

"Is everything okay?" I ask him as I take off my shoes.

"No." He closes the door.

The dorm has an eerie silence to it.

Haechan is seated at the dining table with his head on it too. He looks like he is asleep.
