20' D-day (Part 2)

Mark's POV:

We get in the car and Jisung drives only because he wants to occupy himself.

Haechan, on the other hand, keeps on singing to hide his nervousness.

Jaemin has everyone tracked. He said Y/N is still in her house, while Minjae is on his way there.

Jaemin also said that Renjun is at the venue but not in the main hall.

Jeno is sitting still while Chenle is tying and untying the band on his hand.

Everyone is nervous.

Jisung announces that we have reached and he parks the car in the nearby woods.

We all get off and try to camouflage the car with branches and shrubs.

The car is five minutes away from the actual venue which we walk to.

Jaemin has kept his laptop in his backpack and decides to use his smart watch for tracking instead.

"Y/N is on her way here. With Minjae." He states as we walk.

"Chenle give her a call." Haechan orders.

"No, that might get her into trouble." I say. "We don't know if he's revealed himself to her or not."

"Thats exactly why we need to check." Haechan pleads.

"No. We can't risk it. That's Renjun's department, he'll check on her." I firmly say and Haechan gives in.

I can tell he cares but we can't risk anything.

"You guys know your positions." I state while looking around and everybody nods.

"Go!"

We all turn our earpieces on as we run to our respective positions.

"CJ, Main entrance, Check." Chenle says into the earpiece.

"Nana, Back door, Check." Jaemin speaks.

"James, Car park, Check." Jeno says.

"Andy, Rooftop, Check." Jisung states.

"Peter, Inside, Check." Haechan says.

"MK, Upstairs, Check." I say while waiting for Renjun to speak.

"RJ?" Chenle reads my thoughts.

"He must be around, don't worry." Jeno assures us.

"No, he's not. Not even in this area! He's moving fast, away from here." A panicked Jaemin states.

"Don't worry guys, I'm sure it's for a reason. Just stick to your parts." I try to calm everyone down so that they don't mess up.

Renjun is smart enough and I trust him so he must be on to something.

"The target has reached the car park." Jaemin states.

"Yes, I see them." Jeno confirms. "Oh, this doesn't look good."

"What?" I ask.

"Y/N is out cold and Minjae is carrying her." Jeno states.

"That bastard!" Jisung fumes from the other side.

"Relax, we are here." I try to re-assure him.

Chenle informs us that they have entered the building and Haechan confirms it too as he is on the ground floor.
