Y/N's POV:

Freshening up doesn't take long because the process at the moment only consists of; taking a quick shower and dressing up.

I retreat back into the room Xiao Ling is in, just to escape Jisung's tactics. We are very good friends and if they told me to pick my favorite dream member now, I'd definitely pick him. After Renjun of course.

Though, right now, too much is going on and my peace of my mind is more important.

A few minutes later, I'm informed by Jisung that Jaemin has gone downstairs to order food for us because the telephone wasn't working.

I decide to go into the living room now because atleast I could get a source of entertainment there; Television. Jisung goes into another room and he doesn't appear for a while. Luckily for me, there is Netflix available which I open to search for something to distract me.

As I scroll down into the account that looks like it hasn't been opened ever since the boys came here, the telephone starts to ring—contradicting Jisung's statement earlier.

I look in the direction that Jisung has disappeared before contemplating whether I should confide in him or not, about answering the phone. I finally come to a conclusion that I probably should because it could be important.

"Hello?"

"Y/N, I'm glad it's you." The awfully familiar voice makes my stomach twist in disgust.

"What do you want?" I lose my temper, but without raising my voice, now fully aware of the other people present in the house.

"You, I've always only wanted you." Minjae says as a matter of factly.

I'm about to ignore him and put the phone back in it's place instead, but he speaks something else.

"Look, I want you to willingly hand yourself over to me, and then I'll forgive your betrayal."

"What makes you think I'll-" I start to say only to be cut off by him.

"I was just getting there, sweetheart. If you don't, then say goodbye to the remaining of your little friend group." He threatens me as my breath hitches.

"Renjun and two other friends are driving right now, do you know how easy it is to send a truck which would knock their car over. Oh, and what about Jisung, he's lying on his bed right now using his phone, he won't even have time to save himself before a bullet pierces his heart."

I lose my balance at this and Jisung shouts from his room about my wellness, because of the noise he probably heard. Minjae catches on to this and warns me about even trying to expose him.

"I'm fine, don't worry." I shout back to Jisung, lying about my state as tears are blinding my vision.

"Good girl." Minjae coos. "Oh yes, I almost forgot, what about Jaemin? He is at the reception right now almost about to take the elevator. What if it crashes?"

I can tell how much fun this is to Minjae right now but I can't say the same for myself. Each one of his revelations have scared me out of my mind because of how accurate his information seems to be.

I want to run into the room and tell Jisung everything, or rush downstairs to stop Jaemin and confide in him too but I just can't. My heart won't let me. There is only one of me anyways and I just can't be there to save each and everyone of them.

Yes, there is a possibility that Minjae could've been bluffing me right now but I can't even afford to take a chance because this is the question of their lives and death. Their lives are in my hands at the moment.
