Eternity

Chapter 2

After the "incident", Wesker appeared more often, requesting Adryn and Eclipse to be in his trials. Every one of them. He did back off though, in hopes that Adryn would grow tired of not seeing him and come after him herself. He wanted her to chase after her new god. He couldn't resist her though. Wesker would leave Adryn for last, but would still mori her. As he did so, he would kiss her each and every single time. Their quick kisses became more passionate as time went on.

This brought forth some unwanted drama for Adryn. The other survivors began to understand Adryn's feelings for the man, and began to shun her, and worse, verbally attack her for her feelings. Eclipse tried her best to keep the peace and to keep Adryn from Wesker, but she was growing tired of it all.

The other survivors hated Adryn for how Wesker treated them because of her. He was more brutal if Adryn was in the trial with them. She apologized to them on multiple occasions, but they didn't care. They blamed her for how things were turning out for them. Adryn finally began to talk back at them though, stating that she knew she was going to be manipulated but that she was alright with it. She didn't care anymore, she just wanted Wesker.

Eclipse ended up begging The Entity to keep Wesker and Adryn apart by not allowing them in any trials together. Feeling particularly generous, she did as Eclipse asked and kept the two apart. Eclipse kept them apart outside of trials. She would constantly distract Adryn or just full-on tell her she wasn't allowed to go see Wesker. This caused Wesker to grow tired of waiting for Adryn to come to him. So, Wesker showed up at the survivor's mansion late one night. Jill and Chris had opened the door for him, as he'd politely knocked.

"I want to see her. I want to see Adryn." Wesker demanded of the two as they stared at him in confusion. Jill was the first to break out of her confused state.

"You can screw off. You're manipulating her and taking advantage of her obsession with you." Jill snapped at the man, who looked bored with the situation.

"I am not forcing her into anything, she is coming of her own free will to me. I have done nothing to push her into anything or take advantage of her." Wesker didn't like being accused of something he wasn't doing. It would have been different if he was manipulating her, but Adryn had been allowing him to mori her and to kiss her of her own free will. Speaking of Adryn, she had been in the kitchen and heard the commotion. She walked into the room with Jill and Chris and lit up.

"Adryn, listen, you can't go with him," Chris stated as Adryn pushed past Jill and him. "He's using you, he'll hurt you in the end. He'll betray you!"

"Mind your own business," Adryn muttered as she shot Chris a glare. She then turned her attention to Wesker. "You are here for me?" Adryn asked him trying to keep her excitement bottled up in her.

"Yes. Would you like to go for a walk around the area with me?" Wesker spoke like a gentleman. Adryn nearly squealed in happiness as she stepped out of the mansion with Wesker.

"I'd love that." Adryn smiled up at Wesker as he wrapped an arm around her to pull her along with him. The two walked around the mansions and into the forest a slight bit. They just took in everything and each other before Wesker finally spoke up.

"You're making me a softer person. The other killers are making fun of me for my 'obsession' with you." Wesker commented as they took a moment to just talk.

"The other survivors hate me. They've been treating me badly because of my feelings for you. Eclipse is always angry with me recently." Adryn frowned and looked down at her feet. "If it was possible, I'm sure the others would kill me to get me away from them."

"They have already begun to sabotage you in trials, trying to get you killed first."

"I don't understand why I'm being bullied for loving someone." Adryn sighed as Wesker grabbed her chin carefully and lifted her face to look up at him.
