As Adryn and Eclipse entered the living room, they saw the drama that indeed awaited them. Wesker was seated in a chair, and some of the survivors from his realm were around him, all bitching at him. His face was neutral, as it didn't seem like he cared at all about what they were saying to him.
Adryn was able to hear a few things from the bunch of people. Things like how Wesker was a bastard, a monster, that he deserved to die, he didn't deserve to live. The next batch of things she caught from them was about her. Things like that she was using him, how could she love someone like him, and then that he was going to hurt her in the end. Finally, Chris stated that Wesker didn't deserve happiness with Adryn, as he wasn't capable of being loved since he was such a monster.
Adryn decided that she was done listening to their bullshit and approached the group, slowly bleeding into her demonic form. Only Wesker noticed the danger that the survivors were in. He decided to warn them and spoke up to Adryn.
"What are you up to, and why are you so angry, my dear?" Wesker addressed Adryn, causing the survivors to turn and see her finally.
"Shut up. I'm over these idiots and their bullshit." Adryn snapped at Wesker, causing his eyes to widen. She'd never been so harsh with him before. Hearing her harshness toward the man she loved worried Eclipse. Though, she still decided to stand back and keep an eye on things before she herself had to intervene with anything. Ignoring the concerned looks from Eclipse and Wesker, Adryn stopped a little ways in front of Chris, as it seemed like he was the leader of this little group. He noticed her inhuman eyes on him and spoke to her.
"I didn't say anything untrue. He's a monster that deserves nothing good." Chris stated to Adryn. The woman sighed as she tilted her head to the side. Her eyes then began to glow golden. With that, Chris was on his knees, nearly screaming as he held his head in severe pain. Claire moved to her brother, only to be grabbed by Adryn and tossed violently off to the side. Claire smacked against the wall and fell to the ground. Adryn's eyes never left Chris' body.
"Adryn, you're going to kill him if you don't stop. The Entity won't like that." Eclipse finally figured she should step in and try to help Chris.
"I don't care. I'm done dealing with these people. Just... done." Adryn muttered before Jill moved to attack her, only to be glared at next. Jill hit the ground, crying out in pain as Chris nearly collapsed the rest of the way to the floor, finally able to catch his breath.
Wesker wasn't liking this. He knew the survivors stood no chance against his lover and her abilities. Not only that, Wesker could see Adryn slowly being consumed with darkness. So, he approached her with caution.
"My dear, look at me," Wesker spoke to Adryn in a calm voice.
"No." Adryn snapped at him instantly but Wesker wasn't having that.
"I am your god, and I have told you to look at me. You better listen." To this, Adryn sighed as she stopped her eyes from glowing, allowing Jill to breathe and not suffer finally. Adryn then looked at Wesker, glaring at him with her normal angry demonic eyes. "You aren't being yourself. You're being blinded by anger, but you don't need to be angry with them. They don't matter. They are merely peasants who are unimportant. I don't care about what they have to say about me or our relationship. We know the truth, they don't. We know how we feel about each other. We know how true those feelings are, right?" Adryn whimpered and held her head in her hands for a moment as she nodded.
"Right... they don't matter." Adryn then looked up at Wesker, sadness in her eyes now. "I just don't like people assuming things about us. I just want everyone to leave us alone and let us live in peace." Wesker reached out and placed a hand on Adryn's cheek, holding her face as she nuzzled into his hand.
