Chapter 15

Adryn knocked at Eclipse's door, hoping the other woman would open the door for her.

"Eclipse! Come on, I'm sorry for this shock, but I'm happy about it!" Adryn yelled through the door to her soul sister. Eclipse then opened the door and looked Adryn over.

"You don't seem distressed, well no more than usual anyway... Come in." Eclipse moved to allow Adryn to enter, but when Wesker tried to follow, the door was slammed in his face as well. "Your ass gets to stand out there," Eclipse spoke harshly to Wesker through the door, infuriating him instantly. He chose to not make the situation worse, so he leaned against the wall next to Eclipse's door so he could hear everything being said.

"Look, I'm not sorry that I'm pregnant, but I am sorry that it's so sudden and so fast. I get that things are moving quite quickly for Albert and me." Adryn explained to the furious Eclipse. Eclipse scoffed at Adryn's words. She didn't care how fast things were going, she didn't want this to go at all. Meanwhile, Taemin was very confused. Not only did he just wake up, but he didn't know what was going on.

"This is exactly how it went with your ex. You got together too quickly and got pregnant before you were ready. Then he lost his mind and tried to have you killed. How could you forget the consequences of being pregnant? How could you be okay with even carrying the child of someone like Wesker anyway?!"

"Don't you dare bring up my ex and that situation. This is nothing like that. Also, I thought we were over this. I thought you were accepting Albert now."

"I've had more conversations with the others from his realm. He's killed innocent people. He's a monster. He's done horrible things for selfish reasons. He is far from being a good person, and you should never have gotten with him in the first place."

"I guess that makes me a monster too then. I love him, and he's a monster. Besides, I tried to kill someone. Just because it may have failed, the intent was still there. Anyone who could even try to kill another person is a monster then according to you." Adryn was angry now. She didn't appreciate how Eclipse was back on hating Wesker.

"That's different, that bitch deserved to die!"

"How is that any different?! If you want to think Albert is a monster for killing someone, then I am too! There is no double standard for this!" Adryn was yelling at this point. She was beyond angry at Eclipse. "And apparently I'm going to be having a monster baby! Hell, the baby will probably be raised to kill people anyway. That'd just be so great, wouldn't it?! Two monsters raising a baby monster!"

"Adryn, you-" Eclipse was cut off by Adryn snapping at her.

"I've made my fucking choices! I wanted to be with Albert, so I am. I wanted to fuck him, so I did. Now I want to have his baby, so I will. All of that happened, and this baby is happening. There is nothing you can do or say to change that. So you should just get on board with everything."

"I'm not going to support this. It's one thing to fuck around with someone and play house with them, but it's another to be serious with them."

"I was always serious about Albert." Eclipse found that funny, as she began to laugh at Adryn. "The fuck?"

"Wesker is just another in your long line of obsessions. You'll eventually throw him away too. You'll lose interest in him soon enough, though now you're stuck with him."

"Are you serious?! Is that really how you view me? Just someone obsessing over others only to throw them away in the end? Do you, my best friend, really believe I'm so fucked up?"

"What about all of your most recent relationships, other than him. Everything seemed great, then things got serious and you ran. You're going to run from this too. You don't love Wesker. It's your obsession that you've mistaken for love. Surprisingly, you are going to be the one hurting him, not the other way around. You don't genuinely care about anyone but yourself and maybe Taemin and me. Maybe." Eclipse's words caused Adryn to be silent. She was far too shocked to speak at that moment. Hurt was written on her face though, and that spoke louder than anything she could have said.
