Adryn, finally seeing all of Wesker in the light of the campfire, spoke up to him.

"How long have you been there?" Adryn asked, worried that he'd heard everything that she told Chris, again.

"I woke up a little bit ago and came searching for you immediately," Wesker admitted to Adryn. Chris then stood up and walked toward Adryn.

"I should go," Chris stated as he put a hand on Adryn's shoulder. "But if you need a friend, you've got Jill and me to talk to. We'll be there for you." Chris then left the campfire light and went into the darkness of the forest, heading back to the survivor's mansion.

"When did you get here? It's clear that you've just been in the darkness for a bit, listening to our conversation." Adryn faced Wesker, with a bit of annoyance in her voice.

"Do you really think that I was lying about wanting a child? I didn't dream that dream on purpose, I don't even remember it anyway. If it got you this upset, you should have woken me up immediately." Wesker ignored her question completely. Adryn frowned at him though.

"I wasn't really thinking when I ran off. I was just scared." This caused Wesker to realize that there was more to her fears.

"Why were you so scared? It wasn't merely because of your fear of being unable to bear me a child, was it?"

"No... I left something out when explaining your dream to Chris. You weren't just with children, but with a woman as well. A woman that wasn't me. You looked so happy with her, with another woman." Adryn then chuckled humorlessly before speaking again. "I understand that it was just some stupid dream, but the fact that it'd been the first thing I've ever seen from someone, terrified and hurt me. It's like someone was playing some sick joke on me. My abilities kick in, only to see the man I love being happy with someone else. Believe me, I know it's ridiculous to get upset over this, I know that very well." Adryn then sat back down on the log she'd been on before and put her face in her hands. Instead of crying, as Wesker expected, Adryn began to laugh. He wasn't sure how to react to that, so he stood there watching her laugh as he was worried for her. The laughter didn't last long, as she stopped laughing abruptly.

"Adryn?" Wesker asked as he was now more worried for her. She looked up at him with a calm face now.

"I think I'm losing it a bit. I don't know why though. It's like my mind is all scattered for some reason. I feel... different at times. It scares me." Adryn's words just proved to worry Wesker further. So he sat down on the log next to her.

"My darling, I don't know who I had a dream about, and it doesn't matter. It was a dream. It wasn't real. You are though. You are real and I absolutely adore you. You shouldn't allow yourself to get so caught up in things like this."

"I know..." Adryn mumbled as she reached over and took a hold of one of his hands. She then sighed. "I need to get over it. Over myself. I'm going to break us if I keep this up." Wesker squeezed her hand as he looked at her concerned for her.

"There is no way I'd ever leave you. It's impossible. You are stuck with me, I've already said this."

"I'm sorry for making you repeat yourself. I just hope I get back to normal soon." Adryn and Wesker shared a moment of calm between them as they heard someone approach them. They turned to see Eclipse coming toward them.

"Hey, The Entity wants us to have the party tonight. In a little bit actually. I've just been gathering people to get ready, as the others finish things up and start the food." Eclipse said to the two lovers who looked calm now. She could tell that they'd been through another bout of something negative, but she chose to not ask about it, figuring that Adryn would tell her eventually.
