"I feel like we're lost" Lindsey said as she followed Riley deeper into the woods. They had been walking for almost ten minutes now.

"We're not lost, dumbass, it's just far away" Riley groaned, once again answering that same question.

The road seemed endless, but nothing was endless, finally they reached the spot. The first thing Lindsey noticed was the music coming from afar, then she saw warm yellow light coming through the trees, and then there it was. A camp fire with familiar faces surrounding it, students sitting on the cut off logs.

"What took you so long?" One of the students, Cara, Lindsey immediately recognized her from History of psychology, asked Riley.

"Not my fault. Someone takes forever to shower" Riley said down on a log, gesturing at Lindsey to sit as well, "so what do we have?"

"Well, we're starting with vodka. I've got weed as well, and Nat's got cigarettes and then a bit of a surprise for later" a red haired boy, Joe, spoke and ended with a mischievous tone.

Lindsey wasn't at all surprised to see Riley's group of friends. And she couldn't judge either, since she wasn't much better. One of the girls handed her weed and she gladly took it. She saw an empty water bottle in one of the bags. Nice. And someone turned up the music. Two of the students were dancing with each other in a slow pace. As if they would fall if they sped up. Clearly high. That was the goal for the night.

"Okay, I think I've done enough revising. Gotta head back for the party anyways" Dana said and let out a small yawn as she closed her notebook, "thanks for helping"

"Yeah, no problem" AJ shrugged and watched as Dana put all her things in the beg and stand up.

"Will I see you at the party?" Dana said, now standing over AJ who looked up nervously.

"Uh... no, I'm tired. I'll probably just go back to my dorm soon" she answered.

"What? No, you can't do that! Come to the party" Dana whined.

"I don't really know anyone there" AJ said awkwardly, embarrassed to admit.

"You know me. And I'm starting to like you. I'm sure you'll like my friends too" she assured, but it didn't sound very convincing. Dana herself didn't seem to like her friends, how was AJ supposed to?

"...maybe. If I'm not too tired after finishing studying" AJ said. Of course that meant no.

"Okay. I'll be really happy if you come" Dana said and turned to walk away.

AJ stared in confusion. She was like a completely different person at that moment. How did some people do that? Just switch up in a second. She didn't get it. Whatever. She shook her head and went back to making notes.

When she was finally done, it was really late so she went back to her dorm and took a shower, then changed into her pajamas and went to bed. Of course she wasn't gonna go to the party. But she went to sleep thinking about all the things that could have happened if she had gone. All the missed opportunities... she never took the risk.

Dana was walked into a room full of people. It had gotten packed while she changed into her bedroom. She lived in one of the biggest dorms in the academy. Her father had payed extra for it.

Music was blasting out loud and everyone was busy getting wasted and dancing. Dana had chosen to wear a small lacy black top, a red furry jacket over it, small black skirt which barely covered anything and black see-through tights matched with black heels.
