"Okay, I think we can all agree that I would be the hottest character alive" Dana stated and leaned back on the couch. Nate (Riley's friend) and Lila (Dana's friend) both looked at her with doubtful expressions.

"Not while I exist. I mean come on, look at me" Riley turned away from the stove and posed for the group. She put four mugs filled with tea on a tray and brought it into the living room where everyone was sitting.

Nate let out a puff of smoke and finished the last of his cigarette, "how can you say that? If I was a tv show character, all the girls would be obsessing over me. I'm hot, I'm funny... I'm hot" he said. The others laughed.

"Okay, you might be the hottest, but I'd for sure be the main character" Lila said and grabbed a mug.

"And I'd be the villain that everyone loves" Riley nodded.

"I'd be a character of a chick flick. The main mean girl of course" Dana said and everyone agreed.

"Ag, man, I kinda missed this" Nate said, looking at everyone in the room.

"What do you mean?" Riley asked.

"We used to hang out all the time when you two started hooking up" he pointed at Riley and Dana, who awkwardly looked at each other, "but after you had that whole fight, our group fell apart in two"

Riley pressed her lips together and Dana sighed,

"You're right. It was wrong for us to make you choose sides, but before we weren't actually in a relationship and now we are, so the same thing won't happen again, don't worry" Dana said and Nate smiled at her.

"Cheers to that" Lila replied and picked up one of the vodka glasses that was on the table, they all did the same and took shots after clinging the glasses together. (Yes, vodka and tea. It's good, don't judge)

After a while there was a knock on the door, Lila immediately got up to open the window and Riley pulled out an air freshener and sprayed it around to get rid of the smell of cigarettes. Nate drank the last of vodka and put all the glasses under the table. Once everything was hidden, Dana got up to open the door.

Everyone groaned annoyedly when they found Olivia (Dana's friend) standing on the other side of the door.

"Now that's a warm welcome" she said and rolled her eyes.

"Sorry, we thought you were one of the professors" Lila shrugged and smiled at the blonde girl who sat down next to her.

"Well if I was, you'd be in serious trouble. Smells like cigarettes in here" She stated.

"Couldn't possibly tell you why" Riley shrugged and picked up a pack and lit another cigarette.

There were no other unexpected knocks on the door and they continued their night in a delightful mood, enjoying each others company and reminiscing on the old times as if they were some kind of eighty-year-olds.

AJ pulled out her earphones when she heard a knock on the bedroom door.

"Come in" she shouted and Lindsey walked in. AJ frowned in confusion. Why was she knocking on her own bedroom door?

"Hey, you up to anything tonight?" Lindsey asked with a mischievous smile.

AJ hesitated before answering. In those three seconds about a billion thoughts went through her head, but she tried to push them all away.

Lindsey was good. She was a friendly. She could be allowed in AJ's comfort zone - this were the things AJ told herself whenever Lindsey wanted to hang out. And a lot of the times it worked, to her surprise.
