Third Person POV

The students of Class 1-A started off summer with a bang.

During the summer, there was an event called I-Expo that took place on I-Island — a man-made island that was afloat in the middle of the ocean.

The Expo was a huge event where scientists, heroes, and people from all around the world gathered to showcase the advancement of Quirk technology. It was sponsored by big companies that send invites for highly regarded Pro Heroes, and civilians and students could also receive invitations through Pros.

Nearly all of the students of Class 1-A were able to attend, whether through invitations or job offers.

They were all excited, but for Y/N, it was bittersweet — considering her father was going to make contact with her once again.

Mr. Aizawa only allowed her to travel to the island under the condition that she would stay with All Might and Midoriya the whole time.

Of course, she didn't tell them that.

When the day came to travel to the island, she set off on her own to the airport, riding the slightly rusty bike Mr. Aizawa had given her.

The sun hadn't come up yet, and the darkness covered her like a blanket, pressing against her eyes. Other than the squeaking of the bike — which her music couldn't quite cover up — the ride was quite pleasant.

Thankfully, the airport wasn't too far, and she made it with plenty of time to spare. As she walked, a breakfast place caught her eye, and she picked up a croissant sandwich on the way to her gate.

She sat down on one of the chairs by her gate, between a young woman holding a baby in her lap, and an elderly gentleman who had fallen asleep with his mouth half open.

Y/N brushed the croissant crumbs from her chin, and opened up her phone. A message from Midoriya popped up on her screen.

She opened the message to find a selfie of him and All Might on a plane, along with a caption that read; "All Might and I are on our way to I-Expo! But it's kind of a secret that I'm his guest, so please don't tell anyone. I'll tell you all about it when I get back!"

He doesn't know I'm going as well. I guess I'll surprise him when I get there.

Y/N switched apps and idly scrolled until boarding started.

"Traveling alone?" The smiling flight attendant asked as she took Y/N's ticket.

"Yes ma'am. I'm meeting my father there."

"How fun! In case you didn't know, your seat is in row 2A. Have a nice flight!"

2A. 2A. The girl repeated in her head as she looked for her seat.

2A....Aha. Wait a minute.

She was surprised to find herself in first class. Even though she rolled her eyes at her father's arrogant and pretentious choice — it was no doubt to showcase his wealth — she had to admit it was quite nice.

There was more room than she knew what to do with, as there was only one seat in her row. The seat itself was extremely cushion-y, and she sunk it as soon as she sat down. There was a TV screen with a remote, and she even found a fuzzy blanket in a compartment to her right.

After placing her suitcase in the cubby above her head, she reclined the seat as far as it would go and curled up underneath the blanket, closing her eyes.

She was out before the plane had even lifted off the ground.

The girl was oblivious to everything — including the crying baby in the economy section, and the sudden turbulence that wracked the plane halfway through — until a kind young man roughly shook her awake after they had landed.
