Your POV
The next couple days consisted of our class learning or practicing our ultimate moves.
Some got them sooner than others, like Tokoyami and Bakugo, while others were still struggling.
I had been able to freeze Ectoplasm's clone more consistently, and for longer durations. He had told me the move was sufficient, but I had an idea in my head to freeze a bigger area and more people. This would ensure even greater success, especially if I were to fight a group of villains — or allow me to save people from falling debris or crumbling buildings.
I was more impressed with Deku however, who had come up with a new way to use his Quirk. Instead of primarily using his fists, he switched to powerful kicks with the iron soles built into his improved costume.
"Ectoplasm! Can you send up another clone?" I yelled down to my mentor. "I was trying out something, and he fell off the side of the rock!"
He nodded, and I found myself staring at another version of him.
I learned that when I freeze time on a being, I could manipulate their movements with ease. For example, when I froze Ectoplasm, and landed a kick on his chest, his body moved to respond to the contact — but he stayed frozen after the force had worn off.
Science baby.
"Alright, Y/N. I want you to try this now. Let me borrow Uraraka for a moment."
He retrieved my friend from another clone, bringing her up to the level I was on.
"Hey Ochaco. How's your training going?"
"It's pretty good! Though I do feel a little...blegh...sick."
"I wonder if you could bring around nausea pills, so before your fights you could take some to counteract the effects of your Quirk. Just a thought."
"Hm. That's actually a good idea. Thanks, Y/N!"
"Uraraka. If you can, make all of these small rocks float." Ectoplasm said, gesturing to the stray pieces of cement littered around the area.
The girl nodded and obliged. Soon after, a considerable cluster was floating over my head.
"See if you can freeze me, as well as these falling rocks. Ready, Y/N?"
"Yes sir." I responded, taking a starting stance.
"Go ahead Uraraka."
"Release!"
The girl touched the tips of her fingers together as Ectoplasm ran at me. I held my hand out, focusing hard on stopping the flow of time. However, instead of directing all the energy toward Ectoplasm, I allowed some of it to spill into my surroundings.
And sure enough, as the clone froze, so did the rocks that had begun to drop towards my head. Not only that, but Uraraka had also frozen, her brows furrowed in concentration.
"Hell yeah." I smiled triumphantly.
I sent a water flow that neatly collected all the rocks into a pile next to me. I also sent Uraraka back to the place she was training before with a gust of wind.
I just barely had time to pin the clone to the ground before time slipped away from me.
"Well done, Y/N. You have surpassed my expectations." The clone said, struggling under my grip.
"Thank you sir." I bowed my head and stepped off of him.
"Thanks Uraraka!" I called over to my bewildered classmate, who looked stunned to see she had almost magically teleported.
