Third Person POV

A call on Midoriya's phone came from Todoroki, and he snapped it open hurriedly.

"Midoriya! Are you five safe?" Todoroki's concerned voice came from the receiver.

"Yeah, how about you guys? No one saw you?"

Y/N leaned forward slightly, waiting for his reply.

"I don't think so. We're on the street blending in with the crowd now. Some pros are here helping people evacuate."

A wave of relief washed over the five students. Everyone had made it out unscathed.

"Good. We're heading out to the station now. Luckily, we missed that last shockwave. Our rescue totally worked!"

"A rescue? That's not what happened back there! You idiots just happened to be my best escape route!" Bakugo protested.

"You're welcome!" Kirishima smiled.

"I had to get out of there, so All Might could destroy that guy." Bakugo grumbled.

Now let's hope he actually does. Y/N thought.

---------------

"I can't believe it! How is one person so powerful! He's destroyed the city, and is holding his own against the Symbol of Peace!" A reporter who was recording the scene from a helicopter said.

A crowd had gathered around one of the large TV's that broadcasted the news, the students in the mix as well. The scene showed a demolished Camino Ward, with rubble and debris splayed out everywhere.

Everyone watched as All Might rose to his feet, coughing out blood.

All For One stood across from him, seemingly taunting the injured hero.

All Might and Gran Torino braced themselves as All For One's right arm swelled to three times its natural size — crackling with an energy overload. With a mighty swing, the villain sent a punch hurtling at All Might. The power of the attack further sent up a cloud of dust so thick that nobody could see what was happening.

And then the dust cleared.

Standing alone was All Might — in his true form.

His once skin-tight hero costume hung loosely around his emaciated frame. Dark blood dripped down his scalp into his hooded eyes. And he looked exhausted.

The previously loud crowd had resorted to muttering, trying to comprehend the scene in front of their eyes.

"He looks like a skeleton!"

"What's wrong?"

Oh God.

Y/N slowly closed her eyes.

This is going to cause chaos.

"Is everyone else seeing this?" The reporter exclaimed.

"What the heck is going on with All Might?" Kirishima asked, eyes wide and glued to the screen.

"He's...out of time..." Y/N breathed.

"What? What does that mean?"

"It means he's going to lose."

The noise of the people gradually started to rise back up again as they exclaimed in shock.

"Beat this guy..." Bakugo pleaded under his breath.

And then they started to encourage him — almost desperately, yelling their shouts of praise and motivation.

And yet All Might stood frozen. Unable to move.
