George POV
Alright... so...
The very first thing I had done was hide the key in my diary, and only then went to take a shower again because I couldn't stand the cold sweat anymore. Returned the key card, fixed up my wounded left hand by wrapping it in some bandages and lastly cleaned up Dream's cell without speaking a single word to him. By then when I'd be done, Quackity has already added something to the table of shifts for me, just like he promised.
So, here I am standing in front of the notice board in the kitchen and...
There's nothing for me?
How? Why?
Where is Quackity? Because I know that I've been away for longer than 40 minutes.
Actually, no, I won't question it. I'm glad that there's nothing to do. I'd rather sit in boredom than do some experiments.
Well, now that I currently have nothing to do... I'm not on the same page with Dream anymore... No one is looking for me.. no one needs me.
What now?
Fairly simple. I should be a good friend and check up on Karl. I was the one who actually messed up since I told him to keep an eye on Dream, so he got involved which is entirely my fault. I can go and ask him on how things turned out the way they did.
I'd also like to apologize to Sapnap because of the other thing that I messed up, and also ask for his well-being because of that big injury across his face.
But, I won't bother him now since he might be busy with having nurses take care of him. So, I'll apologize when I come across him.
Yeah. Sounds like a good idea.
So, I'm now on my way to Karl's room.
But with how deep I was in my thoughts, I didn't think about my surroundings. As soon as I take a turn to the right, I bump into someone.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" the man apologized immediately, seemingly in just as much shock as me. He laughed awkwardly.
"No, no, it's fine, it's fine" I laughed just as awkward.
I looked up at the tall male and was stood there quite fazed with my mouth left open.
He's a newling, I noticed that immediately. I have never seen his face here before.
His... face...
Cutely curled lips, kind, dark blue eyes, a decently defined jawline, little scars here and there, few moles scattered over the lower face. The curly brown hair complimented the features, and the general masculinity of his body added on top. His height was similar to Wilbur's, but maybe half a head shorter.
He looks handsome.
"Uhm, I'm a little lost. I'm new here since two days after that... really short guy threw me in. I- okay, I won't even try to wrap up what happened to me because apperantly everyone had the same happen to them? I already talked to some people here. That's what I heard from others-" he shook his head as he put a hand on his forehead "I'm so sorry for rambling so much, I'm so overwhelmed and don't know where to go. I wasn't instructed to anything at all. Can you help me? Please?"
My gaze softens. I giggle "It's okay, I can understand your trouble. What can I help you with?"
The man swallowed and looked behind himself for a moment before looking down to me again "I was told I'm suppose to be working with someone today, but I checked that list in the kitchen and my name isn't even there yet??" he sounded incredibly confused. "I don't even know what work happens here!" his laughter was filled with nothing other than hopelessness.
