Dream POV

Is he even returning at this point? I just hope he hasn't forgotten me in here. I don't know how to keep track of time, but it feels like many minutes have passed. It's so silent in the room to the point I hear my sensitive ears ringing. Are the walls that thick that they isolate all noises from outside this room?

When I was about to lie down on my stomach and rest, but exactly then the door slid open and I saw a tall person standing there that I haven't seen before.

The person was frightened when they saw me "Oh, oh god, uhm- wrong room wrong room wrong room-" in a panic they repeatedly press their key card against the sensor again, trying to close it as fast as possible.

When the door was shutting and they hurried away, with one sprint over I get my snout stuck between the door and doorframe which hurt, it wouldn't open again. My head was stuck. I slipped my hands inbetween and pushed against its force, then I was freed and the door slid back into the wall.

I'm free. Almost.

If George refuses to help me, then I'll be on my own from now on.

I take a tiny peek and still saw that person running off, rushing to somewhere. Or he was afraid? I was indeed smelling a trail of anxiety that comes from them. Then, they were gone around the corner. Gosh, that's a very long hallway.

I kept checking the air whether someone was coming, but it was pretty silent and clear for me to wander around in.

I leave the room and walk the same way that the other took, because that's where most smells were going on. On all my fours, the sounds of my claws hitting the smooth floor was exposing my presence, but that was something I couldn't do anything about.

I lower my nose to the floor and catch onto many smells. That was overstimulating me again, getting me all excited. So many different hybrids' smells.

I pick up on my walking pace to get to the place wherever my curiosity is leading me to.

Hybrids start to get very noisy and overwhelmed with emotions because of me again. I approach the cells that were in a long, straight row on both sides.

"What are you doing here?!"

"Go away!"

"Ugh, thank you, now you've woken all of them up."

"I can smell that you're different, you're suppose to be dead.."

"They'll kill you, get out of here!"

"Free me PLEASE-" I jumped to the side when this one ran against the bars, sticking its arms towards me and screaming for help.

So many hybrids kept saying so many things at me at the same time like the swarm of birds' singing on an early morning. It's so overwhelming.

I stare at this one for a little longer. It's a fox hybrid. I notice patches of fur missing on the side of its torso and it gradually bleeds. It kept crying to me, but I decided to make a selfish decision and keep on walking. It screamed its lungs out the further I went.

Never had positive experiences with fox hybrids anyways.

So, as I proceed to walk, I look at each of these cells. There were some empty cells, some having a literal pool of blood on the floor, and in some I saw.. a dead one. It looked like another fox. Paralyzed, looking up to the stars. How unfortunate...

But otherwise, there are many other hybrids, all the same size as me. Interesting how these tiny fragile humans manage to keep something so strong and put behind bars. And dare to do... experiments on them. I'm quite amazed yet horrified.
