George POV
I'm so confused. So the hybrid is part animal and part human? I've never seen that before. And now this seems even more cruel, locking up a human looking thing behind a wall. I don't know how to procceed. I look very concerned at the thing having sat down on the floor as I look at the unusual features on the human body.
The lower body part of him is from the hybrid with furred, strong legs, sharp claws and pointy ears pointing at me with full attention while having a much friendlier look on his face now. He looked at me with no emotion, just staring. Well, this is awkward. Can he speak? Was I even suppose to see this happen? He seemed pretty calm, not troubled about this change of form.
"Can you speak? Our language? My language?"
He looked at my hand and back to my eyes, then to the side. Still not saying anything. It was a clear message that he was refusing.
"Do you like meat? You're a carnivore after all. I could get you some. Would that make you trust me?"
"I'm not an idiot." he frowned, glancing back at me.
I raised my eyebrows in surprise, not having expected that kind of voice. Sounding like a completely normal human. "So you do speak!" I smiled.
"I'm not gonna fall into any of your tricks." he clenched his teeth, having ignored my words. He had seemingly taken my words pretty personal.
"I-" I got immediately interrupted by him suddenly having hit the glass with his strong hind leg, as if he tried to assert dominance.
"Why even having thrown me in here in the first place? What is this?!" he stood up, huffing angrily. And god can I tell you how much taller he now seemed. A good one or two heads taller than me.
I looked up. "This seems so humiliating for you probably, but I'm sorry. I'm not here by choice either. And it's not like I could answer you that so easily. Ask Schlatt" I lifted my hands by my chest to play the victim. "The guy you saw next to me earlier. Him"
"Well, do me a favor and free me." the hybrid demanded as I saw him balling his hands to fists.
I swallowed, my heart acting up weirdly too. "I.. can't." I answered with hesitation. I had to change the topic though because no matter how much we'd argue over this, we won't come far. "But, please, tell me, what are you? Are you an animal hybrid like everyone else of your species or are you something different?"
He looked at me in a slight hint of disgust and disappointment. That felt like a higher level of judgement. "I'm just me. My own species. Why do I have to label that?"
This is such an annoying conflict honestly. "Your own species? Are you not a hybrid?"
"I am."
"Wolf?" I keep on pushing.
He scoffed and turned around, walking back into a corner. That's also when I saw that he had a tail as well. Cute feature. "Wolf hybrid." he confirmed with a quieter voice.
"Wait- but how? Isn't that literally impossible??" I stepped closer to the glass now that he had distanced himself from me.
He sat down, moved his tail aside and gripped onto it. Holding it as if it was like his little plushie for support. He started to stroke gently over it. I definitely took a mental note of that.
"It's possible. Are you blind?" quite the audacity he has...
"Well, I'm sorry but I've never seen a creature turn into half a human like you before." I replied with the same audacity he treated me with and sat back down on the floor, writing down the things I've seen so far. The transition, the appearance after his transition and the general behavior.
