Simi

I followed Kaori as she went back to the old nasty temple. I hated this temple. I liked her new one better. She changed when she stepped through the doorway. I followed. She was in black clothes armed with weapons.

That's not the Kaori Akri knows. I have to let Akri know what she is doing.

"Simi," I froze, "no need to fear or worry about me, little one. This is what I must do. If I do not return as I once was then do what you must, but I can no longer bury my head in the sand. This is a result of Apollo becoming human. This is my battle."

She turned to me. She still couldn't see me, but it felt like she was staring right at me. I watched as she glanced down at the ground. She looked up. Her hair turned red and her eyes stayed green.

"Stay safe Simi." She vanished.

A black rose was left behind in a vase where she was. I walked up to it. A note was left behind.

I'll be alright.

Kaori

I vanished from my temple and appeared in front of the building Apollo was currently living in. There were too many humans around. I have no doubt that was done on purpose. I frowned.

Pathetic cowards. Using humans to ensure your safety. They aren't pawns. Apollo will never change. Not even as a human.

I snapped my fingers and they were gone. I walked up to the building. I shoved the door open. It was quiet. I moved slowly and silently knowing this could be a trap. If this was how things were going to be, then I would end it. I heard a thought.

Please don't find us.

I stopped. There were children here. I bit the inside of my cheek. They were afraid of the angry goddess with red hair and green eyes. I continued moving. All the doors were closed, but I listened to every thought I could. This was a home for people. I grew angrier with every step I took. Apollo was using women and children as a way to make me hesitate to come after him. I turned a corner and found five apollites. They had weapons drawn ready to attack. Three males and two female apollites.

I can't wait to receive my bonus for killing this bitch, godhood would suit me well.

I can't die. I have a family. Do this so they can survive.

The third male apollites thoughts were quiet. I tilted my head. The first female apollite was trembling.

Please don't kill me.

The last apollite female was smirking at me.

This bitch is so dead. Bringing a bow to a gunfight. What a dumbass.

I transported behind her, "careful. This dumbass is the last thing you get to see before you die."

I snapped her neck. Her body turned to dust. I turned to the other apollite woman.

"Sleep," she collapsed.

The male whose thoughts I couldn't hear caught her. The first apollite male shot me. I transported behind him and shoved my hand into his back. I gripped his heart in my hand.

"You were foolish for believing the lies of a god who lost his godhood for 10 years." I ripped his heart out.

Blood splattered. Then his heart and body turned to dust. I saw the second apollite male staring at me in horror.

We don't stand a chance.

"Sleep," I caught him and lowered him to the floor.

"Why didn't you kill them?" I looked to the last apollite.
