Kaori

I sat there with the little picture of my baby and a flash drive in my hand. I couldn't believe I was only around six weeks pregnant. It was too soon to tell the sex, but the important thing is that they were healthy. I created duplicates of the picture for Acheron and Tory. If it was a boy I didn't know what I would name it, but if it was a girl I already knew her name. The door opened and Ash and Tory came back in. I smiled at them and held out a copy of the ultrasound.

"I'm not too far along, but I want both of you to have this. You're some of the few people I consider family and I can't see anyone else other than both of you having the first ultrasound picture." Ash held the picture in his hands.

His hands were trembling, "I'd be honored if you both would be my child's godparents as well."

Ash looked up at me surprised. If he had his glasses off I would definitely be able to see the tears gathering in his eyes. I smiled at him.

"I don't know what to say." I laughed.

"I think she wants us to say yes, Acheron." I smiled at Tory.

"I'd be honored, Kaori." I smiled and got up.

I hugged him and Tory tightly. Suddenly the door slammed open and I jerked back moving in front of Ash and Tory. I gasped in surprise and saw it was Inu. I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Why are you here? I thought you needed time?" I didn't know what to do.

Inu

Kaori looked so unsure of what to do again. She moved closer to Ash and Tory. Ash looked towards me and I could see the anger even with his glasses. Tory placed her hand on Kaori's shoulder.

"I'm here because I want to be here. I want to be by your side and raise our child together. I want there to be an us. I love you, Kaori, and you were right. There are always going to be times where I can't help you, but that doesn't mean you won't tell me about it when you come home. You gave me a chance, you told me the truth. I was scared and afraid that something happened to you and instead of trusting you I did nothing but get angry at you," she looked at me, "I want to be here for you. I want to be by your side forever."

Her eyes were filled with unshed tears. She bit her lip and looked down at the ground. Then she turned to Akri and Tory.

"Can I have a moment with him?" Tory nodded and started for the door.

Akri didn't move and Kaori hugged him.

"I'll be okay Acheron. I'll talk to him and then you guys can come back in, okay little brother?" She pulled away and looked up at him.

He looked down at her and I saw his brows furrow. He sighed and kissed her forehead.

"Fine, but if he does shit like last time I can't promise to keep my hands off of him," she laughed, "I would expect nothing less, Acheron."

His face softened as he smiled down at her. I didn't feel jealous, but I saw the love he had for Kaori. They had been through so much together and had formed a bond through the hardships they had been through. She smiled up at him. Tory placed a hand on my shoulder and I looked at her.

"You should know that you are one of the most important people in her life. I don't know you, but I know them. They would move heaven and earth to protect each other and those they care about. Kaori would do the same for you because she loves you. So before you get mad at her again remember that she would do anything to keep you safe." Tory walked over to Akri and slid her hand in his.

"We need to let them talk, Ash. Let's go." Tory smiled at me and led Akri out of the room.

Once the door closed behind them Kaori turned and held something out to me. I looked down and saw a black and white picture in her hand.

"I'm not that far along, but I wanted to make sure the baby was healthy." I walked up to her and took the ultrasound picture from her hand.

I could see the small peanut that was our child. I looked up at Kaori and she smiled at me.

"Are you still angry?" She bit her lip and glanced down at the picture in my hands.
