There stood Kaori in black clothes and covered in blood spatter. The moment she saw me her hands began to shake. I saw her face contort in pain. Then she spun around and hit the other person in the room. It was Apollo. The dagger was still lodged in her spine. It vanished. She started shaking uncontrollably.
"Kaori," she flinched, "are you okay?"
She didn't turn to me. She just shook her head. I stepped closer to her.
"Kaori?" She tensed.
I placed a hand on her shoulder. She pulled away from me. I finally got a view of her and Apollo. Apollo was cradling his face and Kaori was staring at the floor. I followed her gaze and saw someone's tongue was on the ground. I saw her start shaking.
"I'm a monster," I reached for her.
She vanished before I could tell her otherwise. I turned to Apollo. He got exactly what he deserved.
Kaori
I was in my bathroom at my new temple. I looked at myself. I was coated in blood and dust. I was a killer. I took lives. It felt hard to breathe. I fought with my clothes.
You are just like me.
I froze. I turned and saw Artemis. That's impossible.
You're just like him. You hurt others. You ruined lives.
She's not real.
"No." Then I saw Ash.
"I can't trust you. You are just like her." I fell to my knees.
Snap out of it, Kaori! This isn't real! Something's wrong!
"No, no, no!" I gripped my head.
This couldn't be real. This wasn't real. I looked up. Ash was in front of me.
"My word is law. You will die." He turned blue.
No.
I screamed. Everything went black.

I appeared in Kaori's temple.
"Kaori!" Nothing.
I ran to the bathroom. There she was. I rushed to her. She was out cold. She was sweating and whimpering. Something wasn't right. I picked her up and took her to her bed. She screamed in her sleep. She began thrashing around like she was fighting something. She started clawing at her head.
"Not good. Akri! Apostoles! I need you!" Apostoles appeared.
He glanced at Kaori on the bed. He took his glasses off and sat next to her. He placed a hand on her head. She quit moving except the occasional whimper. He snapped his fingers and she was cleaned up. He placed his glasses on and turned back to me.
"Do not leave her side." He was gone.
I laid down next to her. I pulled her into my arms.
"I'm here, Kaori. No one will hurt you." She settled further into my arms.
"No more, please." Tears were rolling down her face.
"Shhh, it's okay. You're okay." Please hurry Apostoles.
Ash
I appeared where I saw Kaori go in her memories. I went in. I saw many woman and children. Alive, but afraid. I transported to the top floor. I found Stryker in the room where Kaori found Apollo. Stryker turned to me and froze.
"I'm not here for you," he relaxed, "I'm here to learn what Artemis did."
He looked surprised. Then moved aside. There was Apollo. Face swollen with someone putting an IV into his arm.
"How many did you lose?" Stryker looked at me.
I could see the hatred in his gaze. I could care less.
"How many? I won't be so kind the next time I ask." He looked away.
"Twelve, plus Apollo." I glanced at Apollo.
"The woman and children," he looked at me, "all safe and accounted for. No one who had family or loved ones died."
I looked back at Stryker.
So Kaori didn't lose herself. She kept her head. So what caused her to lose it?
"I think I can answer that." I spun around.
I saw a man with white hair and pale blue eyes that seemed to change color.
"Who are you?" He smiled.
"Artemis seemed to know who I was. She did something for me before she continued onto Apollo. She gave me my sight in my human form." Kaori knew people in this world.
She said that she read our legends in her world. What if there was more than just mine and my brothers? Would that mean that she kept that from me? Or that she didn't tell me everything?
"I don't know what you're thinking, but from the looks of your face you feel Artemis kept something from you," I looked at him, "anyone who doesn't fall for her brother's schemes such as having women and children as his first line of defense deserve a chance to explain themselves."
For a stranger he knew too much. I turned to Stryker.
"What did you coat the weapons with?" He looked surprised.
"As if I would tell you." I started to move towards him.
"I can tell you. It's a human hallucinogenic mixed with ambrosia." I froze.
I turned to Stryker, "you're lucky she let you live. If it were me I would've killed you."
I left.
