A/N: This chapter is super short. The next one will be longer promise!

Kaori(Artemis)

I was back in my temple.I slid down against my bedroom door. That was exhausting to have to deal with. Physically and emotionally.

"So you finally returned mortal." I shot up and saw Leto.

"I do not wish to hear whatever you have to say, mother." I walked towards the balcony.

"You are very smart keeping up this charade. Now where is my daughter?" I let my head fall.
"I have to don't I? We wouldn't want an entire pantheon to know that their precious Artemis is gone and a mortal resides in her body, now do we? I do not know. I have searched and cannot find her anywhere. It is like she has vanished," I turned to Leto, "I am sorry. I am actively searching for her. I do not know how I came into her body, mother. If I could I would return from where I came."

I walked away and then heard a bark. There was Inu on the bed. I smiled.

"Hi Inu." I scratched his head.

I wanted to cry. I had no idea what Leto would do to me.

You okay?

I frowned down at him. I wasn't, but he didn't need to be told that. I smiled.

"What is your name mortal?" I sighed in frustration.

"I was known in my world as Kaori." I turned and looked at Leto.

I met her gaze. I wouldn't shy away. I just wanted her gone. Leto narrowed her gaze at me.

"You don't fear me do you?" I laughed.

"Are you serious? I've been through hell and back. I'm not going to let some goddess scare me. Especially when gods don't teach their children basic decency. However, that doesn't mean I won't respect you. You are Artemis's mother. I may not be your daughter, but I'm not going to disrespect you. Just because I don't like you doesn't mean I'm going to treat Artemis's mother badly. I don't know you, and I know I will be stuck getting to know you. Or else we won't be able to keep up the facade of mother and daughter. I will keep searching for her. I swear it. I know if I don't, I know you could kill me with something as small as a tantrum." She frowned at me.

"I'll ignore that last remark, mortal. I expect you to keep searching mortal. I will check in once in a few months. I expect you to find my daughter. Do you understand, mortal?" I nodded my head.

Without another word she left. I fell on the bed.

"Well, this sucks." Inu jumped up and pounced on me.

Then I was smothered with licks. I put my hands up.

"Oh come on Inu! No," I giggled, "Inu! Seriously!"

He barked at me.

What is your plan?

I smiled at him. I knew he was here because of Apollymi. I was lucky to have him as a friend.

"I know you're not a hound, but you are too intuitive for your own good. I will not tell you my plan. It is the final mistake I must fix even if I lose my life." Inu nuzzled my face.
