With the food and survival penalties in place, people began to panic after having confirmed the disappearance of all food.
"Give back our food!"
"How, how did this happen?"
The people within the marginalized group were crying while the mainstream group were devastated at the sudden shortage of food. Looking at the crowd, Kim Dokjas eyes soon met Cheon Inho's, who bit his lip as he stared at him.
'Perhaps... were you aware of it? No, that's impossible.'

"What do we do now, Dokja-ssi?"
"Of course, we have to go and get food."
Looking at the party members who looked worried at the potential danger, Dokja noticed how calm Cale and his group were. 'Is it normal for the kids to be this calm...?'
"Then we have to be scouts? There is still food remaining aboveground."
"Nope, we won't go above ground. If we do, we will unconditionally die."
'And it wouldn't be from the poisonous fog..' Though it would be easy for most of the group to defend against the Cheoldoo group, Kim Dokja couldn't shake off the bad feeling he had when looking at the way some of the members were focused on Cale.
"That and most of the shops in the surrounding area have already been raided."
"How do you know that, Kim Rok Soo-ssi?"
'Because we were the ones who raided some of them'
"We had stopped by some of them when we were still above ground." It technically wasn't a lie since they did indeed stop by a lot of stores, some of which were completely empty while others were just almost empty.
'And those were the ones in the areas with denser poison too.'
"But we need to obtain food aboveground..."
"Lee Hyunsung-ssi. The world has changed. That means the food needs to change as well."
Turning to look at the tunnel to Yaksu Station, it soon dawned upon the rest of the party members exactly what he meant.
"Wait a minute. Dokja-ssi... don't tell me?"
"That's right."
'Even if we have to live in a world full of predators, that doesn't mean we have to survive living as prey.'
"We will hunt monsters."
