Having finally left Chungmuro, the newly formed group of ten began to move.
After hearing the news of Cale's close call with danger, the teens became even more protective of him, clustering around him as they tried to keep him from trying to use his phone anymore. Of course, Cale had no idea about this and just followed along as he assumed the teens were trying to earn more coins; and seeing how much was being sponsored right now, he could only try not to smile as he watched his retirement fund increase.
Using the tops whip, Cale -being the ever so cautious yet reckless person we all know him to be- kept the item hidden as he collected information from the wind elementals. Following Yoo Sangah as she took the lead in using her vast knowledge of south korean history to look for relics or remnants of constellations, the group headed for Gwangsengmyo.
Unlike before, incarnations would have a high synchronization with their constellations, meaning the risks would increase accordingly. Since many constellations were determined by the history of their lives, Yoo Sangah, who knew history, would be useful in many ways in this scenario.
Moving according to Yoo Sangah, they walked for a while.
The first one who screamed was Lee Sungkook. "Eh, is that it?"
There stood an old shrine nearby. The Gwangsengmyo shrine.
'There was a place like this in the middle of the city?' Dokja wondered.
'Huh, it was this person?' Reading the description, he became even more surprised. It was an unexpected figure.
It was a shrine for one of the best Chinese gods of war.
Yoo Sangah asked with a tense expression.
"Now what..?"
Kim Dokja looked around. An idol couldn't be seen.
"Let's pray."
Collecting water from the shrine, Dokja and his group waited for the teens who had wandered off somewhere to join them so they could start. Once they returned, he was surprised by what he was bringing.
Placing a few small fruits in front of the shrine, Cale quickly lit a few short sticks of incense they must have found in the area.
Though slightly shocked, Dokja simply nodded as he motioned for the teens to join as they prayed quietly. Some time passed before a system message was heard.
{This shrine has been neglected for a long time.}
{A constellation who loves guandaos is touched by your sincerity.}
{A constellation who loves guandaos has revealed his modifier.}
{The constellation 'Lord of the Beautiful Beard, Marquis Zhuangmou' has blessed you.}
{The constellation's blessing increases your strength and physique by 7 for the next 24 hours}
'Looks like it worked.' Cale smiled, satisfied with the results.
Lee Sungkook turned rosy like a flower.
"Crazy...! Representative-nim, isn't this a complete jackpot?"
"It is a good start."
While he knew that they were bound to receive some sort of blessing considering the constellation 'Lord of the Beautiful Beard,' Guan Yoo, was a god of war, he had assumed they would only get a stat boost of 5 or so.
'But this is a better start than I thought.'
"I guess it is hard to get items from here."
"It would have been nice to get something like a guandao..."
