"What the hell is happening...?"

Only minutes ago, everything had been going smoothly as Cale watched Kim Dokja fight Yoo Joonghyuk in an attempt at bringing him back to his senses.

But now?

Cale couldn't hear anything.

He felt like his ears ringing, his thoughts chaotic at what he had just heard.

Lost his kids?

Disappeared?

The first time?

Cale could feel his mind reeling at the onslaught of new information.

'This wasn't in the novel.'

None of this was ever mentioned in the novel.

Putting aside the fact that this 'loss' may not have been a one time occurrence, Cale was having difficulty keeping a rational mind as he tried to connect the dots within this web of questions.

'According to the original, this should have been the scene where Kim Dokja first brings up Yoo Joonghyuk's regressions in front of the constellations, his previous relationship with Lee Seolhwa, and the fact that he had a child with her in his second regression. But now-'

"Is he saying that something like that never happened..?"

It didn't make sense.

'This is supposed to be Yoo Joonghyuk's third regression, yet somehow the story had already been altered before we ever even met??'

Not only that.

"And what does he mean by disappeared?"

If his guess was correct, then the 'kids' mentioned should have been referring to their group of five.

Yet they are saying that they are the ones who disappeared?

Even when they spent so many years in that same house.

Fortunately none of them died.

Even when Lee Gilyoung and the four teens had worked together using their respective skills to hold off the regressor while Kim Dokja got rid of the theater master, they all managed to come out more or less unharmed with only mild to moderate injuries.
