Cale did not expect to run into Kim Dokja this early on.
To be frank, he thought they probably wouldn't meet until it was time for the Disaster of Floods to appear at the earliest.
And yet here he is.
Standing in the middle of the road with Dokja.
"Please master, I beg of you! Please have mercy and bestow this lowly disciple with even a drop of your vast knowledge so that I may be enlightened and grow stronger just as you have."
....With an Imyuntar calling him master.
Just how the hell did he get here?

-A few hours ago-
"Look Cale, I did it!"
Wearing a bright, victorious smile on her face, Mia came happily running up to Cale.
'Vicious,' he thought, recalling how easily the 10 year old had attacked the groll compared to when he first started teaching her how to fight monsters.
"Good job," he said, pulling out a handkerchief from seemingly nowhere as he began wiping the blood off the giggling childs' face.
While there would obviously be a difference in skills due to Record, Cale found that teaching Mia how to fight monsters had become quite the enjoyable pastime for them as she was both adept at fighting thanks to her small frame as well as proficient in finding the monsters' weaknesses with the clues Cale would provide her.
'Almost like having a student,' Cale thought to himself as they began moving again.
With Cale watching over her and stepping in when necessary, it didn't take long before neither of them had to worry about the sub scenarios' survival fee.
Walking past a broadcasting station, it was then that they heard shouting coming from up ahead.
Turning to look up at him with expectant eyes, Cale could only let out a tired sigh at the young childs' gaze, already knowing what was about to happen.
Taking his silence for agreement, Mia eagerly took his hand; holding on to him to make sure he didn't try to lag behind out of laziness as she quickly led them down a nearby road.
It was then they saw it.
Spotting a large yellow stone-like thing in front of them, a man and woman could be seen eagerly watching the stone as a cracking sound began to emerge from it.
However...
"Hey, that's the ugly ahjussi Barrow oppa knows"
Turning to look at them as they came up from behind the thing Cale realized was actually the meteorite containing the Imyuntar, a familiar face looked at them both in surprise.
"Hyung?"
"Cale? Yoo Mia?" Kim Dokja exclaimed, quickly rushing over to the two with the Han Sooyoung slowly trailing behind him.
'Yoo Mia?'
Confused as he didn't know who Kim Dokja was referring to, Cale felt his eyes widen as he slowly turned to look at the little girl still holding his hand.
'Wait a minute.'
Overcome with shock at who he had been traveling with this entire time, Cale suddenly wanted to smack his past self for not realizing something this obvious sooner.
