Making sure the teen wasn't too uncomfortable in his arms, Kim Dokja turned to the crowd who was now looking at him before starting with the group of men.
"None of you are following Cale. Unless he explicitly says otherwise, you all should return to your king as you have been doing. And you."
Looking at the still-stunned Min Jiwon, Kim Dokja replied.
"I don't want to follow you, especially not for a few measly coins."
"...Huh?"
"I don't want to be your underling." Kim Dokja bluntly said.
Kim Dokja spoke to his party members who were waiting behind him.
"Let's go. We have to hurry."
When he turned around without hesitation, Min Jiwon shouted in an urgent voice.
"W-Wait a minute! I can give you more coins if it is lacking. I can talk to my sponsor-"
"There is no need."
"I said to wait!" She ran urgently and blocked Kim Dokja's way, nearly knocking the redhead from his grasp in the process.
Seeing his now cold indifferent expression while not realizing what she almost did, Min Jiwon grew frustrated with the man.
"Don't you know the value of 2,000 coins? Can you afford to pretend like this?" She angrily said.
Walking around her without saying anything, Min Jiwon shouted at the unresponsive man.
"Just wait! My proposal isn't over yet! How about 3,000 coins?"
Kim Dokja didn't stop.
"3,500 coins! I'll give you 3,500 coins!"
It was only increased by 500.
'As expected, the constellations have different levels of wealth according to their popularity.' Kim Dokja thought.
He ignored her and continued walking.
"3,600, no, 3,700...!"
Letting out a sigh, Kim Dokja decided to drop the respectful act as he stopped and turned to her. Looking back, he saw Min Jiwon making a 'that's right' expression.
'I'm a bad guy,' Dokja thought. He knew he could have just continued walking away as he had been doing but he wanted to smash it. He wanted to destroy that sense of superiority and way of thinking that she could get whatever she wanted no matter the circumstances.
Opening his mouth, he spoke in a blunt voice. "Rather, I want to make you an offer."
"What do you mean?"
"10,000, how about it?"
"...10,000?"
"Oh, is it too low? You are a king... then I will make it 15,000."
Min Jiwon's expression hardened. She glared at him.
"Are you joking with me right now? 15,000 coins? I don't think you are worth that much..."
"No, I mean that I will buy you for 15,000 coins."
"Huh?"
"After all, your troops already want to follow my kid around, so all I need left is you to complete the set, no?"
Her mouth dropped open in a daze before she barely regained her senses.
"Y-You don't have that many coins."
"I wonder what you will say when I show you this."
Pressing his index finger and thumb together, a screen displaying his coins showed up.
