- this story is based on a fanfic i've written in 2020-2021. if, for some reason, you know this old fic: no you don't.
- though it is based on an old fic, all characters are completely original.
- english is not my first language so typos and mistakes are bound to happen
- chapters might have irregular lenghts. some may be 4k words long, and others might be 10k+, it all depends on how sane i am that day
- the goal is to post every friday, you will be notified if i have to skip a week or two though!
- when i started this story, its main purpose was to make me fall in love with writing again. earlier chapters may be a little "worse" because i hadn't planned to release them to the public at the time. since starting this in febuary of 2023, i've regained a lot of my passion for writing and improved slowly. please keep in mind that i didn't have "a reader" in mind when i started this.
- this story may have topics that are potentially triggering to some people. general themes of this story are: homophobia, ableism, bullying, depression, violence, suicidal ideation, drug use and underage drinking, and all the bad things that can happen to you in highschool
- some tropes, cliches and themes you can expect: fake dating (obviously), highschool romance, strangers to friends to lovers, (best friends to lovers?), mlm and wlw relationships, slowburn (there's a reason the original story was 110k words long), a lot of cheesy fluff, even more angst, pining, yearning, stupidity and denial of feelings, coming out and LOTS of queerness, probably a shit ton of cringe
