Chapter 2

«Good morning, Kim Taehyung » Jungkook greeted the Omega as soon as he stepped inside of the bedroom.

Jimin has left for a moment but promised to return soon so Jungkook doesn't have to spend a long and awkward moment with the Taehyung guy.

« It's been a week. You didn't come to see me » Taehyung said as in an accusatory voice which slightly caught Jungkook off guard.

Yeah, it's been a week but he didn't know that the Omega waited for him to come or something.... Well he's not even obliged to come here but here he is!

« I was busy » He simply replied, sitting down on the nearby couch and playing with the wrist-watch that his mother gave him for his eighteenth birthday.

« It's fine. I'm sure you're here to judge if I'm good to go » Taehyung muttered. « I'm barely capable of standing on my feet but if you want to kick me out then what can I say? It's your territory and I don't have the choice anyways! » the omega added bitterly and even if Jungkook tried to stay composed, these words offended him more than anything.

« Don't talk as if I'm that cruel! I saved your life and risk a war for keeping you here! You should be thankful instead of speaking so bitterly to your savior! » The vampire couldn't help but snap, a bit pissed that Taehyung's never been grateful and asks for the impossible when Jungkook's already doing too much just by letting him stay here for an extra day.

« I didn't ask you to save me! You could've let me die in there! Now that I'm alive, they'll get to me and will do the worse! » The Omega roared and Jungkook was left speechless.

He didn't know what to say and maybe he should keep his mouth shut until Jimin comes back to save him from this awkward situation.

« They're monsters! You don't know how much I despise them! » Taehyung continued despite the fact that Jungkook didn't reply to him anymore. « I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl only to watch her die in front of me! They fucking killed her! Jungkook- they're cruel! Monsters! They killed her! She was just an innocent baby! Th-cc-can't bweath-»

When Jungkook snapped his head upwards, he saw the Omega choking on his sobs and breathing heavily.

He didn't know that Taehyung had a baby.

He didn't know that some bastards killed his daughter.

How? Why?

« Tae? » Jimin barged in the room right on time and rushed towards the bed to sit down on Taehyung's level. « Hey, breathe! Inhale and exhale! That's it! You're doing good! Sssh... you're fine! »

Jungkook just kept frozen on the spot as Jimin helped the Omega regain his normal breathing rhythm.

Watching Taehyung's sobs kills him from the inside.

Taehyung is an Omega, a vulnerable Omega and some assholes dared to take advantage of him, and even went overboard and killed his baby.

How can someone be so cruel??!

"Please, Jimin, I don't wanna go there!" Taehyung sobbed against Jimin's shoulder and Jungkook could also hear the soft sob of his Hyung.

Jimin is getting attached! Or more like he's just got an actual heart unlike Jungkook who can't say no to his father to keep Taehyung here with them or just not return him back to his pack.

Chest filled with guilt, Jungkook left the room and decided not to look at Taehyung in the eyes as he made his way out.
