Chapter 23

It's been a week, over a week since the biting mark on Taehyung's neck won't heal.

Rumors have been spreading around that he's mated to a vampire and since then, people looked down on him.

When he goes out with Hyuna, the others would whisper between them and side eye him.

Even Bogum told him yesterday that there was a high chance for the biting mark on his neck to be the same of a mating mark.

That is literally impossible because Jungkook already feed from him more than once through the blood of his neck but none of them felt as painful as this one.

Just the light touch of his neck makes Taehyung wince in pain.

It's not healing, not properly as it should.

But that wasn't the only strange thing which happened to him.

He eats more than he used to, he's always craving for sweet foods and never feel satisfied even after eating cookies and tons pancakes.

Yerin cooks meals for him often and brings them over to his new house because yeah, Taehyung rented a house for him and Hyuna.

Yerin also helped him a lot by finding him a new job at a library and buying foods for him every now and then.

It's not like Taehyung wants to take advantage of his friend, Yerin just didn't let him the choice but to accept her help.

At nights, Taehyung didn't sleep much. He always thinks about Jungkook and how the vampire is doing. Is he feeding well? Going out often with Jungwoon? Drinking alcohol as much as he used to??

Taehyung barely closed his eyes at night and that's why he wakes up with the most painful headache.

One thing he also noticed with his body is the way his belly grew bigger. Yeah, he's eating a bit on excess but it was a bit abnormal.

He planned to just brush it off and be careful in the future with the sugar he consumed, until one day, he and Yerin went out to eat and his friend made comment on it.

"You've gained belly fat lately. You should eat healthier foods and do some sports..." she spoke up and when Taehyung looked down at his stomach, he realized that he indeed gained a lot of weight.

"You're right. I think that I'll start exercising a little" he agreed with her but still felt a bit embarrassed.

He badly wanted to control himself but it was too hard.

When he started jogging in the morning, he would stop in midway because he felt his feet aching.

It became worrisome when he was out with Hyuna and the two of them planned to go out running but he couldn't shift into his wolf form so he just ended up walking after her.

It sucked to feel this weak.

That's why he went to a doctor days after and the latter ran some tests on him.

"I've got the results but I'd like to ask you a question Kim Taehyung." The doctor began and the said omega quickly nodded. "Did you get any symptoms like nausea? Vomiting, headaches or dizziness two or three months ago?"

Taehyung's whole body froze.

He was so damn confused.

"I don't understand..." was what he replied.

"When was your last heat then?" The doctor went on and for a moment, Taehyung stayed speechless.

He didn't get any heat for these past few months, the last heat he had was spent with Jungkook but it was before-
