Chapter 17

"Daddy! Me and Jyun played today and he pushed me against the wall, look I've got scratches!" Hyuna complained as she prompted on the vampire's lap.

It's been two days, two days now that Jungkook's been acting like the new daddy of the little girl.

He doesn't necessarily hate it, plus, at least Seojoon didn't dare hurt nor did anything against him...

"Baby, I told you to stop messing with Jyun! He's an omega and he could get hurt!" Taehyung jumped in as he lifted his daughter off Jungkook's lap, Hyuna was fighting him but he managed to cage her in his arms.

"Nooooo! I want to play with daddy!" She whined but Taehyung kissed her forehead.

"He's tired. Let him rest, okay?" Taehyung spoke and Hyuna looked back at Jungkook before nodding coyly.

It's so sad to see a little girl clinging into a stranger just because the latter agreed to be her 'daddy'...

Hyuna hasn't stopped coming over, even faking her sickness to not go to school and just so she could rant to Jungkook about everything.

"I'll shower you and then you can put on the new dress I bought you, okay? You can show it to d-daddy afterwards" Taehyung swallowed the lump in his throat.

He's not used to this...

He doesn't even know why Jungkook agreed to play along...

For years, Taehyung struggled to raise a true blood alpha, Hyuna has always been short tempered, the absence of a father only worsened her pain. She used to pick up fights with other kids, to use her alpha voice on the others and tear up her classmates' drawing of their family just because she was jealous.

At first, it was just her claiming that she envied the other kids but soon, it turned worse, she started to be violent and her jealousy was so toxic for her age.

That's the reason why Taehyung promised her a new family, not only because he thought to build a new family with Jungkook but also because he knew that it was going to make her happy...

He was never enough for her, she's always needed a father in her life...

It's so sad because he tried to give her everything but he knew that it was never enough, he needed to give her a new family.

After cleaning her and doing her hair, Taehyung put the beautiful dress on his beautiful baby girl.

Once it was done, she ran back towards the room to show Jungkook how pretty she looked.

The omega was a bit thankful that Jungkook smiled to her and complimented her look.

At least, he's doing this right...

However, what the omega fears is for the day, Jungkook would go back to his clan. What will happen to Hyuna?

"Wow, spin around one more time!" Jungkook asked and Hyuna complied, spinning around to show how beautiful her dress was.

Taehyung just smiled, even if he felt a bit left out.

Hyuna was more interested in her new daddy than Taehyung himself, should he start to get jealous??

Would it feel the same if their unborn baby was still alive? Would he feel less lonely?

He couldn't help but imagine how they would look in a big house, or a small house but just the four of them. Taehyung would take care of their newborn baby while Jungkook would play with Hyuna...

It would be ten times better than the reality he's living in...

He would cook food for them every morning and bottle feed his little baby.
