The next few days went like that, with Jungkook's few snapping and grumpy attitude.

The vampire would get angry at little things.

It's not too much but not ideal either because Hyuna started to like him less.

"Taehyung, I know you're excited to have the baby but I don't think you and Jungkook can make it far... I mean, he literally had to choose between you and his family. One day or another, it's going to turn bad and really bad" Bogum had warned after witnessing Jungkook snapping at Hyuna for sulking about the remote tv.

People around, might it be the neighbors or friends, had told him that it's not safe to live with a vampire.

Jungkook went in the forest more often, only came back very late and with blood staining his clothes.

Cadavers of animal were found near the lake and rumors circulated around that it was the vampire's doing. Even the wolves didn't dare go out unaccompanied because they no longer felt safe.

Taehyung knew that it was only a matter of time before Bogum decided to kick them away.

"Tae, we found dead animals again and they're all drained out of their blood. I don't want to scare you but do you think that it's safe to have him here? I mean, today his preys might be innocent animals but tomorrow it can be one of us" Wendy, one close friend of Yerin told him when they were at the café and her monologue really hit Taehyung that he was left speechless, slightly alarmed for the rest of day.

He had a real talk with Hyuna and firmly told the little girl to not piss Jungkook because who might know?

This new Jungkook turned out to be more dangerous than he thought.

It's really stupid, this situation is really dumb because Jungkook should bring comfort to him and not this disturbing fear.

Nonetheless, he still was on his guard.

When Jungkook came back, all dirty and cold like a monster, Taehyung had to stay with Hyuna and lock the door of his bedroom.

Jungkook was so disconnected from the reality. All he cared about is to nourish himself and nothing else.

Taehyung and his daughter can freely go out of their rooms only when the vampire was out for hunt.

At this point, the omega is asking himself if having Jungkook here is better or making his life worse.

Of course, he loves the vampire, with all of his heart but he can't bring himself to confront a bloodlust creature. Not when he almost lost the baby for one time, he didn't want to risk it all over again.

"Taehyungie, tomorrow's your check up with the doctor!" Yerin beamed with delight as she hoped on the bed, next to her bestie.

"Yeah, I'm excited to find out about the baby's gender. I mean, I can finally buy more clothes and furnitures!"

At least in this depressing world, the mention of his baby always brings a smile and sparkle within the omega's eyes.

"I know you've always been excited. But what about Jungkook? Is he coming with you?"

Hearing that name made the omega froze.

Would it be a good idea to ask the vampire to come with him?

"I don't know, I haven't talked to him yet. He's barely home..." Taehyung hissed out.

"I can come with you" the girl offered with a smile and her friend nodded.

The next day, Jungkook was nowhere in sight, Taehyung even called him but he wasn't picking up so the omega deemed it's better to go by himself as he didn't want to be late for the appointment.
