« It's not nothing, you were fucking crying for fuck's sake! »

« It's... my mom just called and the day was a fucking mess already so yeah, her call just made it worse... »

« What? Your mom called you? Why?" Taehyung began to frown.

Well, it can't be any good if Jungkook was crying after a phone call from a member of his family...

"Just to tell me that I'm allowed to attend my sister's birthday is all..." the younger trailed off

"Oh..." Taehyung uttered out as he watched the painful expression the younger was making. "I'm sure that she missed you a lot"

"I don't think so" Jungkook breathed out, scooting closer to the omega, reducing the distance between them.

"Why not? She's your mother an-"

"And she doesn't give a fuck about me! She went days without calling me once nor asking how I was doing and now she called only because Chae's birthday is next week!" The vampire snapped in a bit aggressive tone, sounded angry but Taehyung also felt how hurt he must be.

"I'm sure that she missed you, maybe she was busy and you can't really blame her because you too didn't call her these days..." the omega tried to reassure but Jungkook gave him a joyless chuckle.

"They threw me away!! Why should I call them??"

"Come here" Taehyung breathed out, it emotionally pained him to see Jungkook this inwardly broken.

He opened his arms and the vampire immediately rushed against him, the omega made sure that Jungkook's buff body fit in his bear hug.

"I feel like they are relieved that I'm gone. I bet they're living their best life without me" Jungkook mumbled against his chest.

"Your mother surely misses you, and Chaeyoung too..."

"I don't want to talk about them, all I need is here in this house" he said but Taehyung didn't quite believe that.

Jungkook missed his family and it's for a reason if he cried earlier.

"So, what about your morning? Did you control yourself just fine?" Taehyung decided to change the topic, to not make them in a shittier mood for the rest of the night.

"Well, I did control myself but it wasn't easy...that's why I ended up going to your library, I almost went crazy all alone in this house" he pouted like a lost child.

"Did you miss me that much?" Teased the older but Jungkook snuggled impossibly closer to him.

"Was I wrong when I told your boss that I want you to stay home from now on? I want to have you here all day..." the younger muttered.

What a baby!

"Don't be a baby! I can't stay here all day and do nothing with you, who's going to pay our bills?" Taehyung softly asked.

Jungkook kept silence for a moment, as in he was deep in this thought, before replying: "I can find an online job, I've got degrees in business and I can work for both of us"

"NO! I love working at the library, I don't want to be a housewife!" The older immediately countered.

There's no way that he'll stay at home all day and do nothing!

"Why not? I think it would suit you! One day when we're married, you've got to take care of the kids!" Jungkook seriously pointed.

"Fine, but I'll stay at home maybe when you finally decide to move your ass and find a job. Now since you're jobless, I'll have to work!"
