Chapter 41

'Hard to love'

Since the morning, Taehyung has been awfully quiet.

Jungkook was getting ready for the business party, asking him questions about his look but all the vampire got were vague answers, the omega sounded lazy or pissed or the mixed of both.

Taehyung had already already voiced his displeasure with Jungkook going to a party without him, a party where his ancient crush would be present.

It might be petty but the omega wasn't having it.

He tried to not be in a shitty mood and cause another conflicts but he couldn't help himself, his jealousy got the best of him.

He dropped Hyuna to school ( her new school), and went back home with the same dull face, he got on the bed and pretended to play with his phone when his attention was all over Jungkook, he quietly but angrily watched as the vampire tried on many clothes before deciding to put one of his best suits ever.

Why does he even want to look so good? What for? Taehyung rolled his eyes.

"Should I wear a tie or not?" Jungkook asked as he turned around and held up a tie to show the omega how he'd look with and without one.

"It's whatever you want..." Taehyung's voice came out uninterested and the vampire who had tried to ignore the whole thing finally lost it.

"What's gotten you so grumpy in the morning? I'm just asking you if I should wear a tie or not!" Jungkook slightly raised his tone.

The omega was starting to slowly but surely get on his nerves.

"Don't fucking yell at me! Just wear whatever the fuck you want!" Taehyung snapped back, his palms balling into fists as he looked straight at the younger's eyes.

Jungkook was doing his best not to growl or do something stupid, he was already nervous to go to his first business party wherein the event is full of human, he didn't want Taehyung to add fuel on the fire by being a bitch with him all day.

He needed to be calm, not more stressed.

"Alright, I'll just ignore the fact that you're being an asshole right now" Jungkook said in a lower voice but Taehyung could clearly hear him and the insult didn't settle well with the omega.

"I'm being an asshole? You're the one who fucking raised your voice on me!" Taehyung huffed out of the bed and the younger immediately regretted ever provoking the omega.

He sighed out and tried to fixed his tie, completely ignoring the irritated wolf standing just inches from him.

When he turned around, he was face to face with Taehyung's shiny eyes.

"You don't get to fucking insult me like that! Who do you think you are?" Taehyung assessed the moment their eyes locked.

Jungkook thickly swallowed, he didn't want to fight, he will lose his cool and ruin this day.

"I'll just go, you're too stubborn to even think properly" he was about to walk away but the omega reached for his wrists, grasped him tight.

Jungkook looked down at the area, his heart hammering fast against his chest, he was starting to get officially angry even if he originally didn't want to.

Taehyung was really pushing his limits.

"Get the fuck off of me!" He snarled suddenly, his voice sending chills to the omega's whole body. "I won't repeat myself, get your hands off!"

And Taehyung did.

He did and his legs started to tremble when Jungkook's eyes turned black on him for the first time.
