⚠️Violence! ⚠️
To be honest, Jungkook doesn't even understand why his parents invited him to this party.
They don't even pay attention to him, his mother would give him a smile from times to times but that was it.
She didn't even came to him to talk, nor mentioned him to come to her.
It was very awkward because he and his mother used to be very close.
He knew that something was fucked up but he actually never imagined that their relationship would change this much.
As of his father, the man was brightly smiling at the guests but not at Jungkook. The vampire leader would talk to everyone but not to his own son. How can someone be so cold towards one of his children? Jungkook for example could never see himself ignoring or hating Hyuna one day even if she were to really mess up big times.
These thoughts clouded his mind as he softly rocked the little girl's back.
They just lied down and talked a bit but she was already soundly asleep, must be because Jungkook's old bed is very comfortable.
As he was looking at how cute Hyuna's lips pursed to a tiny pout, someone knocked on the door and made him slightly jump from shock.
When the door was pushed open, a familiar person peeked through the door. It was Jungwoon, his cousin.
"I knew that you'd be here. Do you want to come downstairs? Your father said that he's going to make an important announcement in a few minutes..." the vampire trailed as he walked in and stopped when he was standing a few meters away from Jungkook.
"What announcement?" The younger arched his brows in interest.
"I heard from Jin that it's about his retiring. I think that it's time for him to-"
"Wait- What? He's retiring? Why now??" Jungkook cut him off.
Well, his father never mentioned the want to retire anytime soon but that was before Jungkook moved out, many things might've happened during his absence.
"He's getting old, duh!" Jungwoon snorted jokingly but Jungkook only grew more confused.
"He's like the most powerful vampire that I know and I'm not ready to replace him yet, not so soon. I've go a family to take care of and he already made it clear that I can't bring Hyuna and Taehyung to live here with me!"
"Then you have to talk with him. I'm sure that you'll find a compromise one way or another. For now, let's go downstairs and listen to what he has to say" Jungwoon suggested.
"Yeah, let me just get this little demon. She'll cry once she wakes up if I were to leave her here" Jungkook said as he got up and kneeled in front of the small alpha, he looked at her peaceful face before smoothly grabbing her arms and lifting her from the bed. She groaned for a moment but leaned comfortably into his shoulder and fall asleep again.
"You really like her" the other commented as they stepped out of the room.
"She's my daughter" Jungkook just hummed.
They walked together until they reach the spot of the party.
Taehyung was talking with Jimin and Yoongi (?), whereas Jin and Namjoon were out of picture.
Once Jungkook and Jungwoon reached their level, Taehyung offered to carry Hyuna but the younger firmly shook his head, the omega can't possibly carry another baby around with his already round belly.
Minutes passed by and soon, his father indeed went on the stage, but what was strange was that Namjoon (who by the way didn't show up during the whole party) was standing behind him.
