Chapter 49

Taehyung as much of a paranoid as he was, asked for guards to keep eyes and survey Jimin and Jin all the time. Namjoon himself made sure to keep his boyfriend out of touch and Jimin's safety was also under his responsibility.

The omega wouldn't want one of his friends to die. He didn't intend to take Minho's warning so seriously but who could blame him? After all, this fucker had killed one of his best friend.

A week later, the nightmares Taehyung had been having, had ceased little by little. He would always wake up in the middle of the night, dreamt of being with Yerin but then Minho would barge in and snatch her away from him, killed her right before his eyes. Those dreams made him wake up in tears and Jungkook would rush to hug him.

Jin checked on him everyday and despite the warnings, Taehyung couldn't stay calm all the time. He badly wanted to get ride of his stress because he knew it was messing up with his brain.

Today when he woke up, Taehyung found himself alone, alone and cold because Jungkook wasn't by his side. He slightly panicked until he saw the note on the drawer. Jungkook had told him that he was reuniting with Namjoon today.

The omega had been curious if they found some news about the Minho case but at the same time, he was thankful that they didn't talk about it when he was around because it would be a lot harder to sleep at night.

Taehyung sat on the bed, made himself comfortable and proceeded to start the laptop, however, his hands froze when he heard a loud thud coming from downstairs. His heart missed a beat, cold sweats were running down his forehead as voices and loud footsteps echoed in the corridor.

What was going on??

He panicked as he left the bed, a pain at the back of his stomach was immediately felt but he ignored it.

He attempted to walk towards the door when it bursted opened.

His eyes went wide when he watched Mrs Jeon, Chaeyoung and Hyuna entering the room, they looked in a hurry, why?

"Taehyung-ah, we have to leave" Mrs Jeon quickly announced out of the blue sea. Taehyung's mind didn't quite understand so he just frowned at her.

"I'll grab a coat for you. The Jung had sent a car for us" she added as she jogged towards the closet and pulled out a coat for the omega.

Taehyung was about to ask a question but his brain was too slow and a second thud echoed in the house, this time the whole mansion seemed to shake a little.

"Mom, let's hurry! The others won't keep them for a long time" Chaeyoung added, she had Hyuna by her hips and she was holding tight into her.

"You guys go ahead. I'll help Taehyung" Mrs Jeon rushed to say.

Right, the omega had lost the ability to run because he wasn't allowed to.

However, he still walked as fast as he could as he reached to Mrs Jeon and walked with her towards the door.

As they went through the corridor, Taehyung heard screams and gunshots from the entrance hall.

It made his pulse quicken but he couldn't even peek to watch what was going on.

Who were hurt? Was Minho coming for them?

He hoped that the others are alive and Jungkook-

They went through a safety room and got out of the house via a secret exit.

They might've reached the armored car but when they hoped in, Taehyung didn't see Jungkook, his Jungkook.

"Where is he?" He had asked as he felt his body shaking. "Why is Jungkook not in the car with us??"
