Charlie laid quietly in bed. After last night he was exhausted, sleeping in till around 11:00 am. Though, he wasnt exactly asleep, more like lying in bed staring off into space.

He stared at his wall, his hands tucked under his pillow. Nothing went through his mind. He just laid there, half asleep half awake.

He was pulled from his fatigue however, when he heard a buzz come from behind him on his bed side dresser.

Groggily, he rubbed his eyes and turned over to look at the dresser. He couldnt exactly see anything since he wasnt wearing his glasses, but he could see his phone screen had lit up.

He sighed as he reached over to the dresser, grabbing both his phone and his glasses. He pushed himself up into a sitting position, rubbing his eyes again before slipping his glasses on.

Turning on his phone, he could see multiple texts from ted. He tapped on the notification, bringing him to Ted's contact.

'Hey'

'Hope your feeling better'

'Let me know when a good time to come over is'

Charlie sat there looking at the texts for a moment. He didnt exactly feel like responding, I mean, he could probably do it later.

Charlie closed his phone. He placed his phone back on the dresser before falling back down onto his bed. He sighed as he stared up at the ceiling.

He was tired. He didnt even feel like getting up. But, he didnt need to get up. He could sleep in all day if he wanted to. No, hed hate himself if he did.

He looked over to his alarm clock. It read 11:23 am.

Charlie sighed. He should probably get up. He could make some bacon and eggs, or even use that pancake mix hes never used. Pancakes would be nice. Or, bacon eggs, and pancakes. All together.

Y'know what, yeah. That sounds good.

Charlie pulled his blanket off of him, pushing himself up into a sitting position. He yawned, stretching his arms up above him. After a moment, he brought his hands back down and shuffled over to the edge of his bed.

Charlie put his feet onto the floor before standing up. He wobbled over to the door before ruffling his messy hair and leaving the room.

He walked over to the bathroom door across from him. Reaching for the handle, he turned it and opened the door.

He could just barely make out a humanoid figure in the mirror, since the lights were out. He assumed it was himself, unable to see the differences in his half awake state. That has his unfortunate mistake.

He yawned as he reached for the light switch. Switching it up, the lights turned on.

He glanced back at the mirror, stopping in his tracks as he saw it.

As charlie stared into the mirror, something in the mirror stared back. In place of Charlie's reflection, stood a slimy humanoid figure with a stick through its head.

He stared in shock, he couldnt quite tell what he was looking at. It looked nervous. Well, at least as nervous as a pile of slime can get. It had a somewhat anxious smile across its face, its arms held close to its hips. It looked familiar. Far, too familiar.

Charlie stared for a moment longer, niether of them speaking. After a second, the figure glanced to the side anxiously. It cleared its throat, before bringing it's right hand up in a wave and speaking.

Hi,.. charlie.

It spoke hesitantly, almost like it didnt want to scare him. That didnt work though. Charlie was terrified.
