Mat Pat sighed. Another late night at the tower, and this time he was breaking into a heros quarters.
Well, he wasn't exactly doing that right now, but he was planning to.
He talked with Cellbit, and currently the plan only needs one more component. An access code.
Mat Pats objective, given to him by the golden family, was to escort one of their members into the lower levels of The Hero Agency. This member was known as Ari, though he's sure thats purely an alias. He's assuming she has some sort of shape-shifting power that lets her take the form of a parrot. That way its much easier for him to smuggle her in, so it makes sense they chose her for this.
Cellbit gave him the level ten access card needed to enter the lower levels, but apparently there was more than just a card needed to get him down there. A secret code was needed as well.
This code was shared between all of the personel who worked in The Federation, and apparently, it was given to Dream as well. This code is what's entered into the elevator, instead of the floor number. Supposedly, Cellbits seen Dream go down to the lower levels with his own eyes. Though he said it was 'from outside the elevator', because apparently when Dream entered, the numbers on the outside dissapeared and Dream didnt come back out for multiple hours.
Like, the numbers that showed what floor the elevator was at just defaulted back to floor one, and Dream went missing without a trace.
But by now, Mat Pats decided to stop questioning Cellbit, and just get it over with.
Now, Mat knew he wouldnt be able to just walk into Dreams quarters like it was an average Tuesday and rummage around to find this code. Which, he wasnt even sure hed find. Because the thing is, if this code was so important, why would Dream just keep it on a note around his room somewhere?
Cellbit justified this to him by saying, 'Dream isn't exactly in the right state of mind. He's got a lot of maniplative powers rushing through his head, which can cause some memory problems.' He said, which sort of made sense. But then he went on to explain that Dream supposedly keeps a notepad around with important information on it, just so he doesnt forget. And he said, that if the code was going to be anywhere, it would have to be there.
Which, sounded like complete bullshit. But really, Mat couldnt care right now. He was still very skeptical, but hes been given too much information to be able to just brush it all off and move on from it. So he kind of has to agree.
But, back to how he was going to get into Dreams room.
He cant just walk in, so how does he get in? Well, he didnt know. But he was hoping hed be able to find a solution in the Hero Agencys Tech department. Which was actually where he was headed right now.

Mat Pat walked through the door to the Tech Department, stepping in from the hallway he'd just been in and entering the garage with machines and metal being worked on by all kinds of personel. The place he'd entered was on a metal platform, propped up above the lower area where all the activity was happening. The metal platform extended around to an observation room and a small porch area with a few people around it.
It was loud. Very loud. He just barely noticed the man that turned and called out to him.
"Hey! Woah there, come here!" The man yelled, waving him over as he gained Mats attention. The detective glanced over at him by the observation room, hesitating to walk over as he noticed the man's scarred face and arms. The man seemed to notice his hesitation and decided to walk over himself.
As he got closer, Mat took notice of his mechanical attachments that seemed to be built into his legs. Or, maybe just wrapped around them, he couldnt tell. But they moved the mans legs with a robotic stature, stopping him right before the detective as he smiled and placed his hands on his hips.
