When Friday finally came around, slimecicle was very much ready.

After that battle on Thursday an idea had come to him. It had been about a week since they went out at night, and he was dying to do it again.

So, he waited until Friday night. They could have waited until Saturday night so that Charlie could have the night off, but they just couldn't wait another day.

And so, they waited and watched as charlie drifted off into slumber, all the way up until 10:30 pm. That's when they finally decided to go.

The night was quiet, the normal city noises sounding off in the distance outside. Charlie laid silently in bed, unexpectant of what was to come.

His blanket was already pushed off of him. Even though Charlie prefers to use the blanket while falling asleep, he did allow slime to remove it once he was unconscious, after they complained nonstop about the heat.

Charlie laid there, still and unmoving, when green translucent slime began to slowly creep up over him from his back.

It moved slowly, wrapping around his arms and legs before weaving its way across his chest. It then slowly began inching its way up his neck.

It covered his ears, slowly moving over his mouth. And a moment later, his head was gone, covered entirely by green goop. And another second after, two small black beads blinked open where his eyes had been.

Glasses appeared and a large carefree smile grew on their face as slimecicle reformed the rest of their appearance.

Slowly, they pushed themselves up on the bed. Sitting upright, they glanced around the room with a curious look, not exactly looking for anything, more just surveying their surroundings.

He smiled, shuffling across the bed before dangling their legs over the edge, as they looked down at the floor a few inches below their feet. They looked at their feet, and a few moments later, from their slime appeared two yellow pikachu slippers.

They wiggled they're feet happily before placing them on the carpet floor. Pushing themselves off the bed, he brushed his hands against their legs as they sighed gleefully.

"This is much better." They spoke with a smile as he looked towards the door.

Charlie's bedroom door was shut, though it was unlocked. Not that a lock would be able to stop them, they're easy to pick.

Slimecicle made their way towards the door, gripping the handle lightly and slowly pushing it open. They peeked their head out, looking left and right down the short hallway.

Turning their head to the right, they could see the glass sliding door that led to the balcony. Light from the street lamps outside shone in through the glass, creating a calming ambience.

Slimecicle smiled. Stepping out of the doorway, he began to make their way towards the balcony.

As they reached the door, he placed his finger tips against the glass as they looked out at the street. He couldnt see anyone, at least not from where he was.

Slowly, they reached toward the handle and slid the door open. They took a step out, before quickly shutting the door behind him. As they turned back around, a breeze of cool autumn air blew over them.

The smell of the night air was far better than inside. At least they weren't cramped inside someone else's body now.

Stepping over to the metal railing, they leaned over and glanced at the road beneath them.

There weren't any people nearby. The closest person to him was somewhere down the street and far out of earshot. It was perfect. Though, despite the lack of nearby onlookers, the thought of going down to the sidewalk didn't seem all that appealing.
