"Ma what are you up too?" I asked laughing at her weird behavior.
"Nothing!" She replied quickly. "Yea sure." I said walking away. "Ma I'm gonna go handle some business, figure out the Jada situation...whole time I wasn't even married." I said as memories started to show in my mind. Mommy shook her head in disgust.
"I should get going." I said rushing out.
Jada made a soft side of me that I had locked away ever since my brother was murdered show again...that was obviously a mistake. I promise myself to never do that again . __________________________________ Mama Evelyn
"Planning Toni's welcome home party was very tricky...Toni doesn't like surprises or secrets. But we did it." I giggled talking to my one of best friends Ms Tina Knowles.
Tina was at my house, we were just putting the finishing touches on Toni's party, and soon guests will arrive.
Once me and Tina were finally done we had a few more minutes before the party actually started so we decided to sit down and chat.
"So tell me, what really happened with Toni's case?" Tina asked and I sighed.
"You know I knew that girl wasn't to be trusted. Did you know that this whole time we were thinking toni was married when all along Jada gave Toni fake papers and made her sign them for her signature to get into bank accounts and etc. It's really a shame, Toni really did love her." Tina shook her head.
"That's really a shame, but it's a good thing what that lawyer did for Toni, I saw it all on the news." Tina smiled
"Oh yeah!!! That's what I been meaning to tell you. That is Katherine's daughter! What a coincidence. And she's such a sweet and intelligent woman, and very beautiful." I said and Tina gasped
"That's amazing! She did look very familiar. May Katherine rest in peace." Tina said looking up into the sky. "Did you invite her to the party?" She asked and I nodded. "Of course! She's the reason why my baby is back home. My sweet Katherine raised a wonderful girl...after losing her family I know that had to be hard on her."
"Yea I couldn't bear losing Beyoncé, Solange, or Richard. She's definitely a strong girl." Tina said and then the doorbell rang.
"That must be our first few guests!" I said rushing to the door
In the next 45 minutes there was already 64 people at the home. To list a few. Whitney, Bobby and their daughter, Mariah, Ciara, Beyoncé and Nicki, Solange, Kenny, Antonio but we call him L.A., Shawntae Aka Brat, Will and his girlfriend Jada, Rihanna showed up with Kelly and Michelle, Ice Cube, T.I, Method Man, Jamie, Wayne, Nelly, Kanye a new kid, Luther, Gabrielle, Jimmy & Terry, and lastly the woman who made all this possible Janet. She showed up in a lovely dress, it wasn't to extraordinary but it also wasn't too basic.
