I called up my friend Kenny, Me and him go wayyyy back. I known him my whole life really we grew up together. We stayed by each other back in the boondocks. Me and Him the same age and he's had my back throughout everything!

"Sup Tone, you ain't been calling me ever since you got a girl I see."

I chuckled "You know it's not even like that, but I really think she's the one. Anyways I need ya help."

"Anything You know I gotcha." He said and I laughed. "What about killing somebody?"

"Nigga of course but who this dude is? I sighed "This pussy ass nigga that's been harassing my girl. It's a long ass story but imma fill you in soon, can't say to much on the phone. Meet me at our spot."

"Bet" Our called ended

"This nigga is gonna get the karma he deserves"

I sat in silence and all i could think about was Toni. I was fine for a short while after she left but the thought of putting her in danger came to mind and I still didn't know how to feel about It.

I cried to myself and prayed to god asking him "Why me" I was battling mental health.

Suddenly I heard a knock at the door
*Knock Knock*

I quickly wiped my tears, and walked very sluggishly towards the door.

"Who is it?" I spoke weakly

"Gil!"

I opened the door and he immediately sensed my sadness.

He dropped what seemed to be a weed pen and gave all his attention to me. "Aw J what's wrong?" He brought me into his embrace and the tears started to flow.

"Gil...I'm so tired...please...just be here for me" i said in between deep breaths. "Of course J..." he picked up the weed pen and brought us to the couch. "Here you might want this." Gil reached me the weed pen and I didn't waste any time taking it.

I took a puff and sighed.

"Gil, Toni found out about Warren." He gasped. "Girl what happened? What toni say!"

"She was basically saying that he was gonna pay for what he did and what he was doing, and she just left and said she'll be right back."

"I'm happy someone is gonna get the bastard. Janet, Toni loves you and she obviously was hurt after knowing what happened to you. So I don't understand...why are you sad?"

"I don't want to lose another one of the people I care about...especially not over me.

"Janet you're worth it. And let's be honest, your father was the besttttttt out there, like some real killer shit. The only reason Warren got them was because one, your father was unarmed, second he was caught by surprise, third he was making sure that he was keeping everyone else safe that he forgotten about himself.

"Warren knew that he wouldn't win against your father so he caught him when he was most vulnerable." She sighed. "Gil I don't wanna lose another person to this maniac! I hate that i live my life in fear. I want to start a family, get married. But I'm scared to bring more people into my life to be in danger because of me.

"So let Toni handle this Janet, Warren is no match for you and Toni. You'll finally be able to get the justice you and your family deserve. Do you think your father would want you here hiding?"

"No he wouldn't..." I trailed off. "Gil I love you, you always know the right things to say." He got up and hugged me

"I love you too girl. Now stop worrying it's all in gods hands and I promise it'll work out in your favor I just know it."

"Anyways enough about me, what's been going on in your life best friend?"

"It's been good, I started talking to this new guy Chris. I just got this new case at work too about a young woman who killed her stepfather.

"Oooh tell me more." I asked intrigued

"Well she tells me that he used to rape her when she was young and her mom knew. When she got older and had a daughter and Her family came over for her daughter's 6th birthday. She said she had looked all over for her daughter because it was time to sing happen birthday and as she went up the stairs she heard muffled screams. She immediately ran to the bedroom she heard the screams from and when she came in...she seen her daughter in tears and her stepdad that once hurt her hurting her daughter. She'd blacked out and she said that's all she could remember.

"Wow...people are so sick." I had gotten teary eyed. I can't imagine what that girl is going through.

"Yes, and to think the mother knew all this was going on. She had to felt alone.

"And what's this woman's name?"

"Ariana Martin."

My heart dropped as I heard that name. She had bullied me in school when my family passed because her and Warren were cousins and she never liked me because michael broke her heart.

"When's the next time you see her?" I asked Gil

"Tomorrow actually." He said and I thought to myself "perfect" "can I come with?"he had gotten excited.  "Of course you can."

We talked for a while longer and then Toni had came home with some dude.

"Hey mamas I'm back, I didn't know you'll have company."

"I could say the same to you, who's this?" I looked at the tall man up and down.

"This is Kenny, he's my best friend and he's gonna help us."

Gil coughed.

"Oh I'm sorry, Waddup Gil." Toni chuckled

"Wassup Toni." Gil walked over to her and dapped her off

Now back to what I was saying, Kenny's gonna be helping us put a stop to this nigga Warren but we need all the brains we can get, because I'm sure Warren carries a lot of people alongside him so we need maybe 5 or more people to get the job done.

"Well here's your five, Me, Joey, Janet, you, and Kenny."

"I appreciate your dedication Gil but I'm afraid that isn't 5, I'm not letting Janet do this with us."

I turnt my head and gave Toni a death stare.

"What do you mean you're not "letting" me?

"Janet the whole point of this is to keep your life out of risk. Why would I let you help me with this."

"Uhmmm because it's me with the plan, it's my family that I need to avenge, and I'm not letting you do this without me." Toni sighed

"I guess so, but once it's gets too dangerous you're out you hear me?" I nodded my head yes and we then decided to talk about a plan.
