My eyes fluttered open, feeling extremely groggy. I almost fall back asleep, yet I find myself sitting up instead. My head aches... this isn't what normally happens after a dream...

"I... can't remember what I saw?" This has never happened before. I feel like... whatever I saw was extremely important. So... why can't I remember any of it? Trying to recall it only makes my head ache even worse. I rest my cold fingers against my forehead, trying to bring myself back to the present.

"Maybe it wasn't a vision but just a regular, fleeting dream? That's the only reason I can think of as to why I can't recall anything." I muttered to myself. I sigh, shaking my head. There's no use fretting over it. Instead, I take in my surroundings. It seems as though someone must have carried me back to Mondstadt, as I'm in my room at the Knights' Headquarters. A knock on the door brings me out of my thoughts. Whoever it is, they have convenient timing. I get up to let this person in. Opening the door reveals Albedo. Oh, does he have those results for me? I thought he was going to send Sucrose over with them. Then again, I've been busy with helping save Dvalin. This might be the only time he can show them to me.

"Good evening, (Y/N). May I come in?" He asks me and I quickly nod, moving out of the way and letting him enter my room. I spy the folder in his hands as I shut the door behind him.

"So, what's the verdict? You found something, didn't you?" I question. There's no other possible explanation as to why Albedo, himself, would come to give me the results of the blood work when he could have just sent Sucrose like he said he would.

"I did. I have a feeling you already know that, though." He knows?

"You know about what happened to me?" He sighs, placing the folder on my desk.

"When you fell unconscious, did you know that an outlander helped carry you to get help?" An outlander? Does he mean Lumine?

"Are you talking about the Honorary Knight?" He shakes his head.

"No, there is another outlander in Mondstadt currently. It was the description from the knights in the area of this man that gave me the idea to look into your blood work for any clues as to what was going on when you were unconscious. You currently have the Dark Dragon Durin's corrupted blood flowing through your veins. Whatever that crystal did to you, it infected you with the dragon's blood." I see. Albedo watches my expression.

"And judging by the lack of surprise on your face, I can tell you already had an inkling about it." I gave him a nod.

"I had a dream of the past after I fell unconscious. I witnessed Durin's final moments on Dragonspine. Felt his pain and yearning as if it were my own." I explained.

"You should know that there's more." I raise a brow. More?

"What do you mean?" He glances down at the folder and opens it, revealing handwritten graphs and charts that I can barely understand.

"This is the rate the corruption was at before you woke up," He says, pointing at one graph. It was almost completely full. "And this," He points at the graph beside the other one, "is the rate after you woke up." The graph was no where near the same levels as the first one.

"While there still seems to be trace amounts of the corruption in your body, it's almost dormant in a sense. This is extremely odd, as I've never seen something like this before." He explains to me. So, if I'm understanding this correctly, the corruption is definitely in my body still, but Venti's Gnosis is preventing it from spreading? I thought it was supposed to be completely gone? Maybe more testing is required...
