Hello all! I'm the author here! I just wanted say thank you for your interest in this book and I hope you enjoy it. Please feel free to leave comments and criticism whenever necessary as I am only one person writing and editing this story for you all. I miss things and I try to fix mistakes when I reread the book myself. There will be times the story diverges from canon for various reasons and of course spoilers for Genshin Impact's storyline. I hope you all still enjoy the story regardless! I try to update every Monday and Friday when I can, however will push out chapters earlier if they are completed early! Enjoy and have fun reading!

You can imagine the MC to wear whatever it is you like as I only reference her clothes a few times. If you do want something more concrete to imagine the MC in, up above is an outfit from Love Nikki that I think suits our main protagonist pretty well. However, instead of the purple crystal accents they'll be the same light blue associated with Cryo.

Ever since I was a young girl, I dreamt of traveling the world and exploring the depths of the Abyss and the stars beyond. I wanted to leave my mark on the world. Yet, how could I do any of that without the blessings of an Archon? I, like the mass majority of the world, was visionless. Yet even still, something inside of me told me that I wasn't going to let that stop me. Was it the strange dreams I had? Of people I'd never met, yet somehow knew their names? There were a few dreams that always stuck out to me. A young bard trapped by ice, a whirling storm approaching a floating palace, a blonde stranger falling unconscious in an ominous location. Those were just a few of the dreams I'd had growing up. When I was younger, my parents chalked it up to an overactive imagination. Children tend to have vivid imaginations, after all. And even still, I knew that they were wrong. I knew that my dreams had to mean something. It wasn't until I met the first person from one of them, that I realized my dreams... were visions of a future that had not yet come.

I was fourteen when I first met him. The young bard by the name of Venti. The same one who was trapped in ice in many of my dreams. I recognized him from across the clearing in the woods just outside of Mondstadt. He was softly strumming a lyre, humming a tune I also recognized from my dreams. It didn't take long for the bard to notice he had an audience. It's probably likely he knew I was there long before I even saw him. When he opened his viridian-green eyes, I knew for a fact he was the one I'd seen. Yet- that also meant he was... He chuckled and waved.

"I see I have an audience this fine afternoon! Tell me, to what do I owe the pleasure of such a child's company?" He asked. I remember freezing up in that moment, knowing who I was talking to. He chuckled, seeming to understand my silence.

"There's no need to fear, child. I have a feeling you've got some questions. I've been wanting to meet the one whom the winds speak of quite dearly." He mentioned.

"I wanted to go exploring, but my parents never let me. So I kinda snuck out and I may have gotten a little lost before I heard your music and followed your melodies here." I explained. The bard chuckled.
