(The QnA at the end of this chapter was originally released on Quotev only. I thought about leaving it out of the Wattpad release as this is being posted months after the fact; however, there were some pretty good questions with equally interesting answers. I wouldn't want to deny my Wattpad readers the chance to read through them, so I kept them as is at the bottom of this chapter.)

Fun fact: This chapter took me like- three days of writing because of my ADHD ;-; I really struggled at times, but I pushed through for you all!

PS. This is the longest chapter I've written to date! Before the QnA was added, the word count was around 10,000! That's 2,000 more than the previous longest chapter!

We somehow managed to make it onto the Jade Chamber through the storm. It was a huge risk, but in the end it turned out alright. Paimon panted. It seems flying through the storm was rough on her too.

"Paimon's exhausted... If we hadn't happened to see the Jade Chamber flying over just as we came out of the Golden House, we really wouldn't have known which way to go..." I spotted the members of the Qixing standing beside the adepti as we approached them.

"Did we make it in time? Is the Overlord of the Vortex still in the sea? It hasn't destroyed Liyue yet, has it?" Paimon asked, firing off a load of questions. Xiao glanced over at us, his brows furrowed.

"What... are you doing here?" His yellow-amber orbs rested on my form with a frown. Wait, I never even thought about this- could the adepti sense the Geo Archon's power with me? If Xiao and the other adepti could, they didn't act upon it.

"Huh... Hold on! It's the adepti! What are you doing on the Jade Chamber? Paimon thought you were arguing with the Qixing... Is the fighting over?" Paimon asked. Ningguang hesitated for a moment before turning her gaze out at the stormy seas. The five heads of Osial stared back at the Jade Chamber.

"Faced with such a calamity of such magnitude, we have agreed to put our differences aside for now and unit against this common enemy." Moon Carver let out a noise of discontent, however didn't oppose Ningguang's words.

"Oh, Paimon gets it... So, how do you plan to defend Liyue? Uhh... just seeing this Overlord of the Vortex guy puts a pit in Paimon's tummy, even from all the way out here." Paimon mumbled, almost shaking slightly. Keqing sighs.

"It's not just you. We've got new Millelith recruits who can't even stand at attention without shaking. The force of an ancient god's presence seems to be too much for ordinary people to handle... Which is why we must stop that monster before it gets any closer to Liyue Harbor!" She exclaimed. The Jade Chamber was slowly growing closer to the Overlord of the Vortex.

"So the Archon War was fought two thousand years ago against enemies like that thing? Now that's scary..." Paimon muttered. And now we have to somehow stop it. Xiao stood by silently. I could practically feel his gaze piercing through my skin. The last time I'd spoken with Xiao, he didn't seem to hold ill will against me. Has he changed his mind because I have the Gnosis? Does he think I stole Morax's Gnosis or something? Xiao looks away with a huff. Huh? I'm so confused about what's going through his brain right now.
