"What should we do today?" Paimon asks as Lumine and I wander through the streets of Liyue Harbor. It's been a few days since the Rite of Parting ended. Liyue has mostly returned to normal. About as normal as a nation without a god can, at least. Before I could give Paimon a response, a familiar voice called out to me.
"(Y/N)? Is that you? Oh, thank the heavens my predictions were correct about you for once!" A familiar, posh voice called out. I turned in the direction of the voice and spotted someone I haven't seen in awhile.
"Mona! What are you doing here?!" I raced over and engulfed the astrologist in a hug. She returned the hug with a relieved smile.
"It's been forever since I'd last seen you. By the time I'd returned to Mondstadt from Fontaine, I'd heard you'd left the Knights of Favonius for the time and were traveling with a golden traveler." She explained. I stepped back and introduced Lumine and Paimon to Mona.
"Well, these two are the ones you'd heard about. This is Lumine and Paimon is her guide. After we saved Dvalin from the Abyss Order, I decided I was going to travel with them. Lumine, Paimon, this is Mona Megistus. She's an astrologist who can tell people's futures." I introduced. Mona narrowed her eyes at Lumine.
"You're not from this world, are you?" Lumine was taken aback and Paimon gasped in shock.
"H-How do you know about that?" She asked in shock. Mona chuckled.
"How? Because I'm a master of true astrology." Lumine was in awe.
"How does astrology work? Can you really predict the future like (Y/N)?" She asks. Mona nods.
"Of course! However, instead of seeing dreams, I use the constellations to predict ones fate." Lumine was about to ask Mona about her fate, however Mona stopped her.
"As you are not of this world, I am unable to predict your own fate. All I can tell you is that your journey is far from over." Lumine frowned. Paimon gasped, coming up with a question.
"Oh! Paimon knows! What about (Y/N)'s?" Mona winced slightly.
"Well, you see... How do I put this... I am also unable to give accurate readings on (Y/N)'s constellation of Oraculum Somnium. Whenever I try, my scryglass becomes blurry and inaccurate. The most I even know about it is its name. What's more is that, it's hard to predict events that even include her." Paimon lets out an "oh", seeming to understand something Mona had said earlier.
"Oh, so that's what you meant when you said that your predictions were correct for once." Huh, Paimon caught on quick for once.
"Exactly." Mona then returns her attention onto me.
"I was on my way back to Mondstadt when I saw you three walking through the streets. You all don't seem busy- would you care to join me on my journey back?" She asks, I open my mouth to respond before closing it. I shouldn't make any rash decisions without Lumine's input.
"What do you say, Lumine?" I ask her. She mulls over the offer before nodding.
"We aren't doing anything at the moment and we still have no way of getting to Inazuma... Sure, we'll accompany you back to Mondstadt." Mona sighed in relief.
"Thank you." Lumine nods.
"Let's get going then. We should stop by Wangshu Inn and spend the night there, then head on over into Mondstadt in the morning." I mention. Mona opens her mouth to speak up, however I interject before she can reject my proposal.
