THE PARISIAN BUILDINGS WERE SCROLLING through the subway windows revealing a part of the capital city of France. There were only a few people, including Y/N and Finn, calmly sitting there, searching some places to do on the girl's phone.
"What's your favorite place here?" the black curly-haired young man asked, his brown eyes now focusing on the woman by his side. "You'll discover by the end of the day" Y/N smirked, the tip of her finger changing the metro maps on her screen.
"We can start with the Eiffel tower, we will end up in the center anyway by this line" she explained, finally turning off her phone, putting it on her beige trench coat' pockets. Finn ran a hand through her h/c curls, her beret of the same color as her coat above his hand. "You're the perfect French cliché" he giggled, but stared lovingly at the girl anyway.
"Ugh I needed an occasion for wearing it after all this time, let me enjoy my moment.." Y/N rolled her eyes playfully. "Ah c'est notre arrêt" she got up not even realising she spoke in her own language.
It has been only two months since the two began a relationship. They arranged a little trip together for Y/N to go back in her country after moving in Canada with her best friend, since then they lived together in a little apartment not so far away from Vancouver where she eventually met Finn weeks ago.
France was Y/N's native country, and she really missed it so coming here and with Finn, she was just the happiest.
They stepped outside and hand in hand walked towards the stairs and to the exit of the subway. A cold wind surrounded them as they only put a foot outside, making Finn pulled Y/N closer to him for warming them.
Suddenly, there were immediately a lot more people, but that wasn't too surprising. The Parisian architecture was very showy there, its tall buildings with their black opened balconies and large windows, the gray-beige walls and the famous gray roofs with their chimneys. The small cafes on the street corners, letting the good smell of the hot drink mixed with the croissants fresh from the ovens.
"We have to stop by one of them!" Finn pointed a finger to a random cafe above them. "Croissants aren't the same in Canada" he mumbled, looking around for any details. "We can get hot chocolate if you want, it's a cold morning" Y/N proposed, turning her head towards the man, wearing a long dark coat, his gloved hands stuffed in his pockets, in one of them also holding the girl's.
He agreed by a nod and they then enter one of the cafe he pointed to just before. "Bonjour, que désirez-vous?" asked the worker, ready to take the command. "Deux chocolats chauds viennois avec chantilly et un croissant s'il vous plaît" Y/N demanded, her accent switching to her original one that you couldn't hear when she speaks English, leaving Finn in complete awe.
