Staying at my brothers new apartment, now, I dropped everything I was doing.
Opening the letter my brother just gave me I felt nervous.
I hadn't really gone 'beyond Plus Ultra' at the exams; A few weeks ago I was still crying over my parents.
A device fell out and All Might showed.
My eyes widened, was this it? Was I going to be a hero? Just like All Might?
My brother looked excited as well while All Might started talking.
He told me I had unfortunately failed the Hero exam. I looked down, kinda having expected that.
At least I got into general studies.
All Might told me, in the recording, that at the sports festival, there was another chance.
I nodded to myself, there was still a chance left. I hadn't completely messed up, right?
My brother looked quite disappointed tough, he cursed and stood up.
"I'm going out, there's dinner in the fridge." He mumbled, not looking at me.
I sighed and nodded. Knowing Itsuki... these days, the fridge was probably empty.
After Itsuki left I got outside. He wouldn't be home until much later, he was out drinking, I could guess.
A new determination filled me while I grabbed my headphones, I may have had a down point, but now I could do it. I was going to be a hero!
