"Silence!" I called out as I got enough. The middle of the night got boring as sleep wasn't an option."What?!" Aizawa called back from his own room.
"It's so quite!" I called out from my own. I heard shuffling from Aizawa's room.
"Why is that my problem?" Aizawa was annoyed as he appeared at my half opened door.
"I don't know." I looked away from my book, "It's annoying me."
"It's late, just go to sleep." He grumbled, "I can expel you now, you know."
"But," I said as if it explained everything, "besides, I can't sleep."
"Why can't you sleep?" Aizawa asked, he seemed less annoyed for some reason.
I was annoyed tho.
"I don't want to wake up from a nightmare today." I grumbled while glaring at the letters in the book, "or tonight." I thought about the time."You know what helps?" Aizawa's tone was way different now, I searched for an explanation, was I stupid?
He crouched down and lifted up a cat. He dropped it on my bed next to me, "Now please go to bed, and don't complain about being tired tomorrow." His voice was back to harsh and tired again. Was he sick? Why'd his tone change?"Night." I mumbled. Petting the cat.
"Night." Aizawa closed the door behind him.
Yet I was betrayed.
Floating in the air I watched them fall.
Waking up in cold sweat I jumped up in a sitting position, feeling the cat scratching my hand.
I grabbed my phone and looked at the time. The light hurt my eyes.
Rolling out of my bed I hurried out of my room, unable to bare any more of it.Taking a few breaths I cleaned up the small wound the cat gave me before getting an idea.
Slightly excited, yet still shaken up, I walked towards Aizawa's room.
Surprisingly he was working on paperwork.
"It's been two hours and I woke up, the cat didn't help." I complained, inviting myself in."Try again?" Aizawa was half falling asleep himself, "I'm almost done, just let me finish."
I sat down on his bed, petting Mocha, hoping he— not the cat but Aizawa- wouldn't send me out of his room,
"Alright, done." Aizawa stacked some papers before turning his desk chair to face me.
"Can we get Miccy D's?" I asked hoping to avoid sleep.
"No," Aizawa leaned back, "what are the nightmares about."
I mumbled under my breath, "your mom."
"I heard that." Aizawa remarked.
The room stayed quite.
I just didn't like said silence, "They keep..falling." I mumbled before swallowing back the limb in my throat, "a-and I'm floating above them." Petting mocha I listened to her soft purs, "sometimes it's Itsuki, he's then throwing me in that hole after them for some reason." I shrugged as casually as I could, "Stuff like that."
Aizawa nodded, "I can let you talk to a therapist." He thought, "I mean, it sounds like it might help."
"Useful." I mumbled sarcastically, "it won't make the nightmares stop magically, you know."
