It has begun

My heart beat in my throat as I prepared for... that day.
You know the one, one I'm totally not nervous about.
"Hey, Aizawa," I nervously walked into the kitchen with my uniform on, "How much people will be watching?"

Aizawa sighed, "not that much, it shouldn't be important right now."

"Oh." I still felt nervous as I ate my breakfast.

"Just focus on why you're there." Aizawa explained, "You're there to claim first place, and you're capable to defeat most of my class, so you're good."

I swallowed and nodded, "I'll try my best." I still felt nervous.

Finally meeting up with Shinso we entered the building and went to do some warming ups.
Murasaki had come early as wel. She put on some tunes to distract ourselves.
Then the moment came.
"It's starting." I told the others.

A while later we walked trough the grass amongst class 1C.
Mic's introduction was quite focused on class 1A because of the villain attack. Oh, yeah, that had become popular and everyone expected a lot from that class.

"Good luck." Shinso grinned a little as we stopped near a stage.

Some kid named bakugo said something to represent whatever. "I'm just gotta say, I'm gonna win." He said with a serious face. I rolled my eyes, time to prove this guy wrong.
Other protests went up and midnight was rather confused that it was kept so short.

Quickly the first round started. It was a race.
I smiled, I had trained for this kind of thing.

Quickly it started and everyone pushed each other around in the tunnel.
I turned into a cat and raced trough the crowd with ease.
Ice spread and I turned into a bird, avoiding all that.
I was gaining a lot of space on the others. Nobody really noticed me being ahead, so that worked as wel.
My eyes widened as I saw the zero pointers from the entrance exam. I flew higher and quickly passed them, avoiding most of that as wel.

I landed and turned into a cheeta, gaining a confused look from a multi coloured haired dude.
As fast as I could (internet said 75 km/h to 120km/h is how fast a cheeta can go) I rushed forwards. Not as quick as the real thing, I'm not going 75 km/h. That's fast.
The next obstacle came and I turned into a falcon, again flying over it.
I was starting to get tired again from flying so I landed as fast as I could, having finished the obstacle within a few seconds.
Again a cheeta I rushed towards the next obstacle.
I took a breath and turned into a falcon again. I had to fly over the minefield, I wasn't that precise and quick.

Using my quirk this much wasn't smart, but people were nearing.
I flew as fast as I could, yet two people had gotten ahead of me.
As I flew a loud explosion sounded.
Someone flew over me, almost hitting my wings.
They were going to win if I didn't hurry!

The last part only lasted so long, so I stayed a bird.
I used a dive so I could gain speed and make it trough the tunnel.
Using my wings I tried to land on the grass.
Mid- air I transformed and fell down on my knees.
"Ouch." I hadn't expected it to hurt.

"Dammit!" I saw the Bakugo kid look at both me and the guy from the explosion.
I tried to catch my breath as I looked up and saw that I had come second, having beaten the Bakugo kid!
Grinning I got up and walked over to the explosion guy, the one that came first.

"Congrats on getting first place!" I saw him looking nervous yet very grateful.
He had green hair and green eyes, freckles covered his cheeks and he looked like he was going to cry.

"You're the one that kept turning into animals!" He said excitedly, "what's your quirk?"

I smiled seeing Shinso walking up to me, "I'll tell you later."

Jogging towards Shinso I cheered a little.
Shinso grinned, "you got second!" He said.

"I know, right? I mean, sure I thought I'd try my best, but boy, my quirk was perfect for this!" I rambled with a stupid smile on my face. Being tired made me ramble.

A while later Murasaki walked up to us.
She looked rather annoyed, "I got stuck in the beginning, the ice got me."

Shinso grinned, "Y/N got second place." He told her.

I nodded, "I did."

Murasaki simply nodded, not saying anything about it.
Quickly the results told who was going to the next round, and who wasn't.
Murasaki had failed, much to her dismay. Me and Shinso, after she had left, had cheered and high-fived. We had both made it!
