I turned around to see the multicoloured ice and fire dude.
"Todoroki, right?" I wanted to be sure.

"Yeah, how about it?" He asked.

"Sounds like a deal, I want to see your fire!" I got excited again. Dude, today seemed like the best!
The look on Todoroki's face made me hesitate tough. He was conflicted about something.
"Anyway, let's get ready." I started walking to one of the platforms. I wondered how All Might would be able to watch everything at the same time... was this safe? With anger issues (Bakugo) I'd sure expect at least someone to get injured.

Some people were already fighting so I watched before turning to Todoroki. I noticed everyone had way more experience.

Todoroki spoke up first tough, "How about we go simple combat first, without quirks."

I nodded, "That's important as wel, let's begin quickly." I got impatient, if I were to ever catch up, I'd need to hurry.

Surprisingly... I lost. Not surprisingly at all, I mean...
It only took a few seconds before I was on the ground, trying to get up.
"I give up." I said, feeling disappointed at myself.

Getting up Todoroki left the platform.
I followed him.
"How can I improve?" I asked him.

Todoroki thought, "practice." He told me, "Your form is good, you just need to practice and be less hesitant of hurting people."

"Less hesitant of hurting people." I mumbled, "Is it just me or does that sound cruel?"

Looking at me puzzled Todoroki said, "It's just you."

I nodded, great to know.

Mina walked up to me, "we totally need to fight!" She dragged me to one of the platforms.
Strange way to word it, I thought, but whatever.

She started without much warning, I didn't complain, actual combat usually didn't have much rules as wel.

I had fun fighting Mina, she was more patient and gave me ways to improve while we were fighting.

The time flew by and All Might rounded us up again, "It is time to learn some teamwork!!"
I was tired already, but it was a great way to improve so I was ready for it.

Drawing lots I ended up with a girl named Jiro and just my luck, Bakugo.
Was I cursed? Why did I have to team up with the screaming boy?

Jiro explained her quirk to me after a small introduction.
Immediately I started to form a plan in my head, hoping to use the little experience I had gotten from the sports festival.

"Don't get in my way extras!" Bakugo glared at us.

"We need a plan." Jiro said, and I nodded.

"How abou—" I got cut off.

"I'll attack and you'll come in if needed." Bakugo said, "I'll be the one fighting."

My eye twitched. I couldn't help it, who could possibly have such an ego and not lecture themselves or something?

"Alright..." I mumbled but couldn't help but question him, "I just don't see how you're going to fight three people at once."

"You guys can distract them if needed." Bakugo said, "but I've got a plan."

Jiro rolled her eyes, she looked like she was used to this. How could you be used to his?

"So..." I spoke up in the following silence, "what's the plan you've got?"

Bakugo started yelling, "WHAT'S IT TO YOU, YOU'RE CLEARLY NOT INVOLVED IN IT!!"

Freezing up I realised he was exactly like how Itsuki would just blow up all of a sudden. I tuned everything out as I stared at one point, trying to slow down my panic.
