Standing in front of the door of 1A I felt excited, yet at the back of my brain I thought about Shinso, I was practically leaving him behind now.

That aside...

My parents would be proud that I had finally made it.
I smiled, I made it this far, might as wel try my best to go all the way.

Walking inside I saw all the stares.
"H-hi." I stuttered immediately. I couldn't imagine a worse way to introduce yourself. No wait, I could.
"I'm y/n, nice to meet you."

"From the sports festival!" A pink girl said, "you got third!" Mina if I remembered correctly?

Iida stood up, waving his hands around, "one by one, introduce yourselves!"

I stood there awkwardly as everyone introduced themselves, telling their names and quirk.

Finally Aizawa made his appearance from a yellow sleeping bag, surprising me.
"You can sit there." He told me while getting up out of the yellow thing.
I nodded while suppressing a giggle, Aizawa looked like a homeless man for a second there.
I walked to the only empty seat and prepared for a chaotic day to come.

And chaos it was.

"Hi!" Mina rushed up to my desk in the back, "let's grab lunch together!"

I nodded, "I don't have anything against that."

"Great!" She exclaimed.

Behind her Bakugo exclaimed, "she's not gonna sit with us!" Was he still sour about the first round? I won fair and square...?

"Come on bakubro!" Some red haired dude, one that I recognised... Kirishima, said.

I smiled apologetically, "no that's okay, if I'm intruding..." I was torn between annoying people and a good first impression.

Mina shook her head, "I will not stand for anyone being bullied away." She grabbed my arm and dragged me away so we could have lunch.

Sitting down I looked around, I saw some people from general course, but I couldn't find Shinso with them.
"You can sit with them if you want." Kirishima said, "I'm kirishima by the way."

I nodded, "I remember your name, but I'm just looking for someone, they're not there."
I was kinda disappointed.

"Well cheer up!" Mina said while shrugging it off, "maybe they're just late?"

Pretending to feel more at ease I shrugged, "maybe." I knew Shinso would never be late to anything. would he?

Some blonde boy spoke up, "so what's your favourite food?"

Mina hit his head, "please don't." She scolded the boy for some reason.

Bakugo ate in silence while Mina and the blonde boy had an argument.

"What inspires you to be a hero?" Kirishima asked me.

I looked up, "oh.." I shrugged, Mina and blonde boy now looked over at me, "I suppose I wanted to make my parents proud. Now I just... I want to save people so they don't die like they did." I admitted, remembering.

"Whoa." Kirishima said, "That's a really good reason."

I wiped my eyes as I felt a tear starting to form, "what about you guys?" I hoped to get the heat off of me.

Everyone said so, then they turned to Bakugo, who said, "I want to become number one, and I'll defeat anyone in my way." He glared at me as he said so.

"Sure." I nodded, "sounds good."

His glare deepened and he got up, angry.
"WHAT ARE YOU IMPLYING YOU—" he got cut off by kirishima, yet he continued yelling.

I sipped my drink while looking at his reaction.
In a weird way, it was quite funny.

The day ended and I was about to go home when someone walked up to me.

"Hi, I'm-"

"Ochaco Uraraka, yes." I nodded, "You put up a good fight against Bakugo."

"That was so scary." Uraraka admitted, "you totally kicked ass at the sports festival as wel!"

"Oh." I didn't expect the conversation to be about me that quickly, "yeah, I guess I tried, I didn't expect to get so far actually." Then again I had been determined.

Uraraka smiled, "You want to walk home with us?"

Did I? "Who's us?" I asked.

"Oh, just me, Deku and Iida, we all kinda go to the bus stop together." Uraraka said.

I nodded, "alright, who's Deku?"

Uraraka seemed to remember, "Midorya has a nickname, Bakugo and he used to be childhood friends." She explained, "they've got nicknames for each other."

Walking towards the bus stop I felt talking to this small group was nicer. They were calmer.
Don't get me wrong, Mina was nice, but she kept arguing with blonde hair, and Bakugo was noisy as hell.

Uraraka, Iida and Midorya were kind, they told me about the extra hero training and what I had missed.
Hearing that I felt intimidated, I was behind on literally everything...
